ATT TV v. YouTube TV v. Others

Here's probably another "what's a good TV service app?" thread.
Just looking to make the switch from DirecTV.
ATT TV looks and setup similar to DirecTV, so wife can transition well, but it seems to pale to YT TV.
But, there are some more available channels on the ATT TV.
Initial price seems similar, but they're jacking up the rate after 12 months.
Have you gotten more than one? Such as YouTube and Philo?
Your thoughts will be appreciated!

TV service has gotten too fluid to make definitive statements. Volatility means what's tops today may change tomorrow, and again the day after, and then next week.
They pop-up, either go broke, get court ordered out, or get gobbled up, as well as viewing options between the various ones changing.
We're still early in the life cycle, will be some time before maturity in the market and longer term options stabilize. Just be ready to act like a hamster on the wheel trying to keep cheap, desirable, channel lineups going till then. That's not even taking into account socio/political cancel culture/regulation/legislation of content that can swing heavily either way.

We just moved to a house with ATT fiber, and I'm planning to do HULU just because youtube tv doesn't carry the History channel, which happens to be one of our favorites.
I am coming from Dish, so I've not really used streaming before, so it will be an adventure to figure out.

I'd say for most folks:
1) YouTube TV (just had a price hike)
2) Hulu w/ live tv (menu is weird though)
3) Fubo TV (seems like a really good option now that they have ESPN/SEC Network, etc)

idk what the others cost but the $64.99 price of YTTV is getting out of hand.. it was $35 when i signed up.

I would lose too many stations on Youtube TV. Only lost one on AT&T TV. Love it.

A couple of cable / satellite TV cord cutters at work went with an antenna and eventually added Philo for their wives.

Try them all out, they'll give you a free trial to try them out, with the exception of AT&T which makes you sign a contract, dealbreaker to me. I switched to Fubo from YoutubeTV and they are the two best, with FuboTV being slightly cheaper. Has the option for NFL Redzone too which will be nice next month.

Loving AT&T tv. Can put the app on phones tablets and smart TVs. Haven’t missed a beat from Direct TV and my shite doesn’t go out during a rainstorm

Is ATT TV a set price or is it like DTV lock you in for 2 years then double?

YouTube tv is the best service, but their constant fee increases have become intolerable. If I wanted all those meaningless channels for that high price I'd just go with xfinity.

IPTV. Cheaper, more channels, and no issues.

Which do you use? If you don't want to bring them too much attention, would you mind emailing to my username at Gmail?
Has it been operating for a while? Do you know if I can get the guide in Plex? I don't need it to be easy, just possible.

Had directv for 6 years was always afraid to switch. Tried the free trial of Hulu/live tv over a year ago and haven’t looked back. Saving over $60 a month. Never had YouTube tv but it always gets good reviews as well. Cable/satellite just is not worth it anymore.

I currently have DirecTv and am looking to finally leave it behind. My neighbor has HULU and he raves about it. The channel lineup works for us but honestly my biggest holdup is my wife having to learn how to navigate the menus. I know it sounds silly but we are in our early 40’s and she doesn’t want to learn new tricks.

Mine, neither. However, she's been a little comfortable using the Roku/ smart TV apps with Amazon Prime. But, sometimes we have connection issues to our WiFi which is annoying.
She's on board with the new service, just trying to decide which.
ATT TV seems fine, except for that massive second year rate hike. Further, I still have a year left on my DirecTV contract that'll set me back $20 / month early termination fee. Won't have to pay if going to att TV, but would have to pay on YouTube TV. Even further, I have ATT internet (25 MB) with a "bundle" discount.
