Just downgraded mine and then upgraded back to gigabit. It had the $49.99 offer when I upgraded so I’m assuming it will show up on the next statement.

was paying 60 for the gigabit for the last year. they gave me promotion to get it to 60 and only had a month left before it went back up to 90 . So did the downgrade and upgrade back to gigabit now showing 39.99 for next 12 months hope this works

I currently have AT&T 100 mbs at $49.00 for 24 months.
I guess I could order the gigabit & renegotiate when it expires.

Just to add a data point. I was on my last month of my 12 month sign up promo for 1 gpbs at $70. Was set to increase to $100.

I went ahead and tried this. I changed down to 100 mpbs for $70 per month plan. It took about 4 hours to process but I was notified via email once it did. Once it processed, I got an alert from my UniFi Controller that failover happened, then about 2 minutes later ATT came up again. (Spectrum is my back up circuit with auto fail over configured with a Dream Machine Pro)

Once I did that, I immediately went to upgrade to 1 gpbs. Sure enough it was there listed at $49.99 for 12 months then up to $69.99 afterwards.

My upgrade order processed within minutes. Unifi fail over happened once more, then ATT came up again 2 minutes later.

I'm not home but I would bet that we are good to go.

Thanks for the heads up guys.

This is great, I may call them today.

I am a ATT wireless customer, but the same deal shows up for me as a new service address. What does the cost end up being after fees? I am currently paying $70/month to Spectrum for 100 down.

100 down is fine, but if I can go to 1000 for cheaper, why not?

I thought ATT typically had data caps, is that no more?

Unlimited data for 1gig ATT Internet. It's really the only reason I have it, since I switched completely to streaming.

Well, I have them coming. Will see if it's an upgrade from spectrum.

Do they do a good job of burying the wires? I finally have my grass looking good right there and hate to mess it up, but I don't want it aerially....

had it installed two years ago wasnt bad at all installed. I love that gb download speed once you get the gb its hard to go down to lower speeds and its unlimited data. A must for a family of streamers I was willing to pay the 90 @month just for the unlimited data.

Just wanted to report that I got my first statement since doing this two weeks ago. I'm indeed getting the $49.99 monthly rate instead of $90. What's funny is they even gave me a $10 partial service credit from switching 100 Mbps to gigabit lol.

Do you guys actually get 1000 down? Whats the upload speed? Also, I always stayed away from ATT because of data caps and see that they have got rid of those during corona, is that the case moving forward?

Any reliability issues??

I’ve had it for nearly 2 years. I have had ZERO issues with AT&T Fiber

I just upgraded to 1000 Mbps and I saved $20 a month

I have a bundle deal with DTV and Internet 1000 (internet was $77). I ordered the 300 plan for $39.99. About 5 days went by with no response, then I got confirmation they processed the order. My plan is still Internet 1000, but for $39.99. Not sure how that happened but I’m not gonna complain

Thinking about upgrading to ATT. Cox is so bad right now, internet drops daily. Technician came out yesterday and said everything was fine. Today it's dropped 3 times already.

Question - Do you have to rent their Wifi gateway? I have an Orbi that's rated for 2.2 Gbps and I'd rather not have to rent their equipment.
