Why in the frick would I do that when I have this thing called a credit card and the Apple website gives me the option to checkout as a guest?

So you don't have to waste hours of your life bitching, I mean it's not like it's easier to do stuff on google when you have an account with google as well?

I agree. You never go to Walmart. Never! I don't care if they have a 65" Vizio Sam's Club Member Edition 4K TV for $299. You don't go to Walmart. Unless you trying to shoot a bounce video there is no fricking reason to go to Walmart.

What you should have done was put your fricking CC info in and bought the damn app instead of being a drama queen.

you dont think i tried that? you are truly speaking out of your arse.

after i keyed in my CC info, it wanted to change her apple info including name associated with the account to me because my name is on the CC, not hers.

i didnt want to screw up her account so i cancelled out of that.

bunch of know-it-alls on here who haven't actually tried to do this.

it would be so much easier if i would have just gotten dressed and driven to a store amirite?

i'm just trying to stir shite up.

Whoever heard of a credit card transaction being processed instantly?

does apple have a team of monkeys writing the card numbers down and dialing up amex on their phones to get approval?

i have this mental image of the first 'on demand' movies the cable company offered which was a giant arse room with couple hundreds VCRs that an employee would go put the movies in after getting a call from a customer who wanted to watch a movie.

in 8 hours amazon would have processed the payment, gotten a guy in dubuque iowa to box up the apple gift card and a drone would have delivered it to my doorstep.

keep the excuses/apologies coming, though.

It should still technically allow the cash to sit on that AppleID's account and be used in the AppStore as well.

Yes I am aware they have AppStore and iTunes gift cards.

So now you're even more angry because your daughter told you something that's not even true?

iTunes cards will buy music, apps, videos, ringtones, anything in the App Store.

The kids trolling him. He should have just given her the CC info and let her handle it. Could have used that free time to automate his mail box.

You went into this like my dad goes into a car dealership. You expected to have a shitty experience where nothing goes the way you want, and it manifested itself. Congrats. Pat yourself on the back for being smarter than a trillion dollar corporation. Stroke your Android or Palm OS or Motorola Razr or whatever until it loves you like you love it.

that's odd. I thought I was just going onto the website of the largest e-commerce company on the planet to buy a $10 gift card.

According to you those were shitty expectations.

Eta I guess you're right

You did buy a gift card. You just didn't get it exactly how or when you wanted it. You sound like a child.

Yeah. I admittedly had a lapse on that one.

I'm still not the one crying that he didn't get his way.

how is it apple's fault that you left your new phone in your office? your iPhone5 is now 4 years old or so, which is probably when just about all phones start to shite the bed.

This was my thought. This thread is great though, as it provides two of my favorite things: bitching about Apple and CAD bitching about anything
