Music for free forever? Or just 6 months. I saw Verizon’s offer for 6 months but that is it.

i'm on their "older" plan which includes free forever. the new plan they're offering is only good for 6 months.

Went back to watch and they didn’t mention Face ID with the Touch ID. I would imagine they would have mentioned it if they were adding it to the iPad Air.

I wonder if they will put the new Touch ID sensor on the new iPhone which would be really nice, so you have the option to use faceID or Touch ID. Would be nice as faceID has really taken a step back with everyone wearing a mask. Frustrating when I have to put in my passcode all the time when I have my mask on. Because of Apple Pay I have to put my passcode in often.

Glad I didn't buy a series 5 watch last weekend like I planned. Almost forgot this was coming up. Series 5 will be dropping in price im sure, is it worth the extra for the series 6?

I think buying the series 6 especially if you are planning to keep the watch for several years makes a lot of sense. The discount on clearance watches are not particularly large (traditionally its about $50) plus the new sensors (altimeter, O2, etc) and brighter Always On Display makes a lot of sense in conjunction with expected longer-term support.

For watches and iPads too, devs are pissed because they usually get a week to make sure they are next version ready. Apple didn't give them notice it was going to be this quick. Most of my apps work with 14, but a few are completely broken.

I’m kinda curious on the fitness subscription. We have Apple TV’s through the house and that integration looks cool.

That and HomeKit integration with Apple TV devices.

Depends.Main differences are the O2 sensor, brighter display in sunlight, and a bunch minor stuff.

I got it mostly become I have slept apnea and it will monitor my Blood Ox at night.

What is your charging schedule if you plan on sleeping with it?

Supposedly the new watch has fast charge and will completely charge in just over 90 minutes. Seems like enough time for most people to charge it while getting up and getting ready for work.

Sounds like series 5 is being renamed watch SE and msrp is dropping to the sales prices we’ve been seeing for the past few months.

side note...is there a bigger rip off than the $10 a month AT&T charges for data on the watch? I cancelled mine on the 3, I wasn't using anywhere near that amount of data

If you have cellular on your apple watch, are you able to make and receive phone calls if you don't have your phone with you? And is it via your same cell phone number?
