Hate to be that guy, but Apple had an "11" a long time ago.

Of course, because their business model is based on fleecing suckers every year.

Installed it earlier on my Pixel 3 XL. Seems like a pretty minor update.

Can barely tell anything different. Notification drop down is more transparent.

When you swipe up to minimize a running app, it brings up a google search bar and 5 app icons at the bottom. I assume you can customize this.

My Pixel 3XL has this feature and I'm still on Android 10.

I just installed on a 2XL. I had this feature in A10, but now it is gone in A11. Now I get a screenshot or select option. I like the old way better.

Android did not assign a major release number to a few versions of the OS because they did not warrant it. Apple has given a major release number annually even when iOS did not evolve much.

It's just a different strategy of releasing software. Neither way of doing it is correct or wrong.

Also, Android is older than iOS. (September 23, 2008 vs February 2, 2010)

Dumb question time....Since the 11 update how do I screenshot a FB messenger convo? I used to use the power button for the screenshot option.

Swipe up like you would to see open apps. There will be a screenshot option at the bottom.

I've been having bad issues with Chrome crashing since the update. I have an old phone (Pixel 2XL) though.

This allows screenshotting apps easily, but to get a screenshot of the homescreen I still have to hold power+voldown (on my Pixel2 at least).
