What’s the best cheapest way to do this.
And have YouTube on my tv
I’ve done YouTube tv + Netflix
I’ve done Sling + Netflix
I’m tired of paying for a hundred channels I never watch.
Thank you in advance
I’m now paying Cox for internet

You can get a friend or family member to create an extra login for you to use. Some companies allow up to 8 usernames. This is actually a perk of most cable subscriptions. I share my cox cable login with others. Then they can use their own usernames to login into apps such as ESPN. I also have a buddy who shares his xfinity cable with me that I use. Even though I already pay for cable. He gets Reelz whereas Cox doesn't. So I am able to watch the Reelz app with an extra login he made for me.

How does the IPTV service work? Can you run it on a Roku tv? It won’t give my computer a bunch of viruses?

Not sure if you can run it on Roku or not. Can confirm you can run it on AndroidTV and FireTV/Stick. You basically need to be able to download an app that will ingest the data from the url they give you and act as your guide. I use TiviMate, which is very popular. Something you should be aware of about IPTV is everyone using it needs to be onboard with with how these services work.
1. There can be a lot of buffering. Sometimes there are more than one channel for a given channel if that makes sense and you can hop around. For instance my service has 4 or 5 channels for ESPN. If one gets slow I switch to one of the other ones.
2. You're going to get like 8,000 channels and that can create friction for some users. TiviMate allows you to create a favorites list so that helps. Sometimes the provider changes the url so you need to resetup everything including your favorites, but this doesn't happen often.
But at the end of the day you are paying $10-$15 for anything you could want to watch so if its just you or everyone is ok with some of the short comings it can be great.
ETA: Make sure you use the paid version of TiviMate. There is an easter egg when not using paid that will slowly fill up your storage on your device until you start getting warning all the time that you device is out of storage.

share youtubeTV or directv stream with a friend/family member. You can share with 2 others fairly well without issues.

I use a shield and tivimate. The guys I use offer a main service and a back up. Buffering is rarely an issue, but since there is a back up and my favorites are set up exactly alike on both, I just switch to the other. It also has a VOD with movies and tv shows on demand.
It’s not as cheap as some of the others but I find it way more stable, really strong customer service, and they don’t argue. You aren’t happy, they just give you your money back.

Stay tuned: ESPN announced earlier this year the network is seriously considering forming its own standalone streaming app.
I saw one price estimate of $22 a month. But who knows when or how much..

They're illegal, and get shut down on a regular basis.

I’ve used the same service for 3yrs…

That's nice and all, but it is still illegal, and still happens. LINK
Your solace may be valid based on the feds tending to fine the shite out of the providers, but not the subscribers. My main point was don't pre-pay a bunch of money for shite that may disappear with no warning.

They will be as successful stopping IPTV as they were against torrents etc. For every one they make headlines of stopping there will be 2 or more to take its place. They should focus on making their services better and more affordable. It's pathetic that some IPTV has better features like multiview, 7 day catchup etc. and better streaming quality than some legit services. It took the music companies a long time to learn this lesson.
As it stands you can drop more or less $100 for a year so the breakeven is only a month or 2 so the risk of "losing" money is small. The ethics of the situation are a whole different discussion. I have never seen proof of an IPTV subscriber being charged/sued but maybe there have been some. Anyone have any info?

Could you send me the provider you are using to my username @protonmail.com
I searched and didn't see a website.
thanks
ETA Before the judgement starts I have a DirecTV Stream subscription, MAX, Paramount+, Disney+, HULU, ESPN+, Peacock etc. I just like to play with the tech involved and would like to look at some of the foreign channels that there is no access to.

You just scored me a free month! Wooohooo!
You’ll be pleased. If not, tell them and they will fix it.

If you live anywhere other than a trailer house, you're retarded for using something like that.
Beware, this is illegal.

Lol what do you expect cable and streaming services to do. Basically every piece of content is owned by like 3 companies. There is a reason a la carte is never going to happen.

I would not chance IPTV at this point. ESPN+ is $10 a month. Bundle w/ Disney and Hulu (no TV) is $20 a month
