Is there any chance Trusty gets called in?
Zero

I think there’s a chance now that Richards isn’t getting back to health, Gregg seemingly doesn’t trust McKenzie, and Long is just looking terrible.
Trusty is going to make another team of the week in the championship I bet and Birmingham fans and their coach are super impressed by him. The coach himself has told Gregg Trusty should be in Qatar. He’s left footed and adept at a playing a back three if we have to resort to one. The more I see of him the more I tend to agree he might be deserving…
ETA: based on current form/experience I would pick Trusty, Ream, CCV, and Zimmerman.

I would pick 5 central defenders bc there will be lots of trial and error, probably into the group stages.
I would pick Zimmerman, CCV, Trusty, Palmer-Brown, and either Ream or McKenzie.
I have never watched a game where either Ream or McKenize has impressed me with the USMNT and have not seen Trusty in years. But their club performances are very good and we are desperate due to injury.
I think Gregg will pick 5 players, but Long will definitely be one of them, along with CCV and of course, Zimmerman.
I doubt Trusty is picked myself, but he is seemingly a top 10-15 player in the Championship this year.

I don't know about that. I think you could argue Gregg trusts him almost too much. Started him in both Nations League matches, and then kept calling him in for WCQ's when he wasn't even making the bench for Genk.
As for Trusty, I see no scenario where Gregg calls him in site unseen unless 2 more CB's get injured. For better or for worse, Gregg made a pool of 40 or so players post-COVID and has largely stuck to those guys. Don't see Trusty breaking through that because he's having a good season in the championship.

It was Adams who knocked that ball into play which led to game winner. Leeds has no chance without BA and TA in that game. They played such high quality for their boss and club.

If it’s really 2 weeks, I have zero concern.

Yeah, sounds like it’s a minor muscular thing. He’ll be fine

They were fantastic especially Adams but Meslier and Summerville were key as well. There are a lot of fans who think Adams will be a future captain.
Adams becoming “folk hero”

Mos Def. But would you be surprised if they both start to get looks from other clubs if they keep improving week in, week out?

Considering they had no chance of advancing, I'm not too worried they didn't push him out there today.
