Every 4 years I hope it will be different and it isn't. Deschamps' teams play the same way no matter the offensive talent. Problem is that it usually works so they keep doing it.

They'll sleepwalk through group stage scoring 2-3 total goals, but usually they'll have one absolutely insane knockout round game where they go off win or lose.

Why doesn't Mbappé get a yellow for simulation there as there was no contact? Did the ref give him the benefit as tripping over hi own feet?
