If they played with that relentlessness at the end like they did against Czech they would’ve won. No idea why they gave Mexico so much respect with that cagey bullshite

Hargreaves and Fletcher have been my favorite commentary pairing

Mexico may get knocked out in the Round of 32.

South Korea just revealed the blueprint. Play for headers on crosses and corners. When the ball is in the air, they are incapable of defending the attack.

No way. Zero attack, and the few times they actually attempted to get the ball close to goal they mistimed their runs. They were more technical but that doesn’t mean shite when you never threaten goal.

CBs calmly passing back and forth to each other for half an hour after going down a goal is shameful.

I like dark and wish he wasn’t matched up with Donovan.

They threatened goal more than Mexico did.

Mexico got a BS goal made possible by a South Korean blunder.

Besides that goal, Mexico only threatened maybe 2 times.

Koreans getting things thrown at them. Average Mexican fan experience.

Don't ever forget those SOB's were chanting "Osama, Osama, Osame" at the first game in Azeteca stadium after 9/11.

Never.
Forget.

More possession? Yea, better on paper? Yea. More passes? Yeah

But they were completely toothless in getting people the ball in front of the goal until the last 10 minutes.

The good thing is that they’ll be just as nasty to their own team as they are to opponents when things aren’t going there way.

So, uh, take that.

Why cut off the rest of the sentence when it literally explains what you tried to argue?

They played like they wanted a draw when they very clearly had the ability to win this game. Korea's problem was a piss poor mentality from a tactical standpoint.

Again, they accomplished this more than Mexico did.

Mexico got both a lucky goal and a lucky save in this match (that save was lucky, while also being phenomenal.)

Mexico was luckier tonight, not better.

S. Korea’s off-ball movement was absolute hot arse. I feel bad for Son.

For like 20 they were in a 4-2-4, but the midfield two were just standing around and the back line had nowhere to go.

Mexico takes control of Group A with the 1-0 win over South Korea. Mexico now has 6 points while South Korea still has 3.

The 1-1 draw between Czechia & South Africa gives both their 1st point of this World Cup. Czechia still on a -1 goal differential to stay in 3rd while South Africa's -2 GD puts it in 4th

My understanding is that Mexico has actually won the group because the 1st tiebreaker is now head to head, and the only other team that could get 6 pts is South Korea.
