It’s crazy. But it was the chip in the ball that felt it enough to say he touched.
Just hope that if it’s really audited, it doesn’t turn out it was the Portuguese players touch that was recorded. And the officials misread it. As it’s tough to think the balls chip is sensitive enough to have some hair swat trigger it.

It's getting tiresome. I'd rather go back to the days of just accepting the call on the field.
That’s what makes the EFL Championship so much fun.

Boy, watching this world cup hasn’t changed my mind on soccer and FIFA.
Questionable calls. No viewable time clock. A secret review system.
I’m trying to get on board, but its tough.

The NFL and SEC meet two of the three criteria you just posted.
Notice how nobody ever gets to interview the replay officials after a game?

The English lower leagues are my favorites as well.

Do you have a soccer team (outside USMNT) you pull for?

EPL is Chelsea, which I've been a fan of since the early 90's because my aunt and uncle were stationed in England and would send me Chelsea gear for christmas and birthdays (their neighbors were Chelsea fans, so they influenced their supporting decisions), MLS is a "not really". No club close to me, and no club that's ever grabbed my attention.
International teams: Panama (mother grew up there.), South Korea (aunt and uncle were stationed there for 2002 World Cup, so we kind of adopted them), and USMNT (obviously the first choice).
I also like Celtic. I like the scarfs.

Oh for sure. Wasn’t trying to argue with your post, it added good insight to the play. It just looks like he quickly tried to load up to head it out from almost every replay I’ve seen. Especially the behind the back one.

Funny how these dudes with 30k posts just now discover the soccer board but are lifelong fans of teams

Don't speak to me of the old magic, I was here when the board was created.

No body is getting a hold of those balls. Can't even practice with them.

Telemundo braodcast.
I still don't see the Croatian's head touching the ball.

There is cheating by players and refs in American sports.

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have quite a few Superbowls from cheating
