England’s in bounds strategy isn’t much of a strategy

The ref LITERALLY just saved Mexico

i thought the same, but I assumed there might be a rule when sliding like that

Hydration breaks are like those giant space balls helmets in football. Ridiculous

Embarrassing that a team with England's talent looks like this against Mexico. I don't care where they're playing.
England hasn’t looked like world beaters in their other World Cup games, did you really expect them to turn it on against Mexico in their home stadium?

England showing too much respect so far.
Don’t disagree but Mexico is trying to get them into a fast paced game, and you can’t let that happen. Maintain the composure and build through the game, that will frustrate Mexico and their fans

It was extended away from the body and it didn’t hit any other part of him first. He got nutmegged and it bounced up into his arm. Seems like it should’ve been a PK

Natural body position for a player sliding in that manner is rightly not called
