I wish Nigeria had made the world cup over Senegal and the other disappointing now Cape Verde, Morocco countries.

Senegal is the turkey of Africa

To be fair, I've seen alot of the non regulars embrace the game more. I think atmosphere is helping. None of these people gave a shite about the Qatar world cup til the final

I'm an irregular watcher of soccer... I think what's also happening is there seems to be a lot of scoring happening in this tournament... seemingly very few 0-0 & 1-0 scorelines

It may be somewhat on average more than I'm being led to believe... just the perception to me

Can we please stop putting Donovan on to call these games. I can't stand him.

Norway has a D tier defense and an S tier attack. They are going to the quarterfinals or losing a shocker in the Round of 32

That’s two decimal places past one of my units, but that feels like the safest +9000 parlay in the history of the world

France & Norway will both represent Group I in the knockout stage after both get wins... France a 3-0 winner over Iraq & Norway a 3-2 winner over Senegal

Both are now on 6 points, setting up a winner wins the group match on match day 3 (a draw would favor France as it currently holds the edge in goal differential, +5 to +4.)

Senegal & Iraq enter their match day 3 match with both needing a win & help to advance to the knockout round as both sit on 0 points with Senegal with a -3 GD & Iraq at -6

If Senegal doesn't find a way to advance on 3 pts (will be difficult), they will have been done in by their difficult group

There will be many 3rd place advancers worse than Senegal unfortunately
Just comes down to the group

Even I’m tuckered out enough on World Cup to just go to bed for this one and I’ve been invested in every game I wasn’t working during to this point. WFH so most daytime games was in front the tv. Late games have me sleep deprived
