No, but they should. FIFA is dirty as sin, and as much as they tried to cheat Spain, Spain was just too good. Enzo and Paredes deserve a three game ban.

It was a disgraceful performance.
Frankly I will find it hard to route for them for awhile.
If I was able to wish for the team plane to go down on the way home - everyone survives but they aren’t found for 20 years when they are past playing age - I would be fine with it. Football would be better for it.
The supposed second ranked team in the world has to try and play like that?

They play dirty and are softer than baby shite. I feel that applies to all South American teams though.

You would have to ban all of CONMEBOL and at least 1/3 of CONCACAF to get rid of it

Operates the same as the International Olympic Committee, or NCAA. You can exist outside, but if you don't like it enough to leave you better have a lot of support, because they will go on without you.

I have met a few argentines over the years and they are great passionate people.
But…
The Argentine soccer player is a different breed. It’s as if someone asked God to create a more trashier European than either the English public housing or Eastern Europe slums could provide and God said - “Sure but I’ll need to put them on the other side of the world so they don’t have to interact too often”. The horrific haircuts, prison level tattoo culture and overall thuggery are points of pride and lifestyle.
I have met a few argentines over the years and they are great passionate people.
But…

Different confederations and regions play different styles, that's what makes the World Cup so great is seeing them stack up against each other. Argentina and the rest of the Latin American countries all play a similar style, the refs did a terrible job controlling the game throughout the tournament in those games. Brazil Mexico and Paraguay's games all looked similar to Argentina (Colombia being the exception), but because Messi was on the pitch, it was a conspiracy. The ref yesterday did as good of a job controlling the game in the tournament, as I've seen. Holding the officials to that standard and tweaking VAR is how you fix it, not banning or sanctioning countries or confederations.

Disappointed in Messi for trying to get a red on Cucurella and for not trying to get his team to show a little class at the end. Classless on and off the pitch. It’s really hard to make me pull for Cucurella but they did.

Lol I’m not telling myself anything. Classy prob a bad word to use there.
I’ve just never heard of him being involved in any sort of controversy or see him act all full of himself like Ronaldo or other athletes do. So I just assume he’s a stand up guy.
