Best Young Player of the Tournament is probably the easiest. The player has to be born in 1997 or later.

Previous winners include Pogba, Muller, Podolski, Donovan, Owen, Overmars, and Prosinecki. Going back, you have guys like Pele, Beckenbauer, and Cubillas as well. Really good company. This will obviously go to Mbappe.

Golden gloves: Honestly, I think the final 4 teams have had the best keepers. Lloris will win it if France wins. Otherwise, I think Courtois or Subasic, if he has a notable performance.

Player of the tournament: Usually you kind of know who is going to win it before the final (Ronaldo in 2002, Messi last Cup, Zidane in '06, etc). This is not one of those years. They have given it to non-champions in the past, including guys who didn't even make the final. For example, Forlan won it in 2010.

I think that tomorrow's game will determine it. If Mbappe or Grizi score the winning goal, they will win. If it is a boring game and no one scores or the game-winner is an own goal or set piece goal from a defender/sub, I can see it going to Pogba or Kante. If the Croats win, I wonder if they will give it to Modric just because he is the biggest name on the championship team or if they will give it to a Belgian instead.

If the Croats win, I assume it will be because Modric has a monster final, so yeah he would probably get it.

If Mbappe scores he’s winning everything that’s left up to a vote, besides the ones he doesn’t qualify for.

Golden glove goes to Lloris. Young player is Mbappe. I think player of the tournament is Kanté or Modric depending on the outcome of tomorrow’s game.

I'm assuming the votes will be in well before the final whistle. I'm not sure the outcome of the game matters, even though it should.

It should be Modric unless Croatia gets routed. His dominance in the midfield of every game has been the most impressive performance this cycle.

When Modric wins it will be because he has dictated the flow of play in every game he's played in this far.

I though Courtois already got the Golden Glove? They said it during the medal ceremony.
