the send off series? I sure he will get some playing time in the friendlies.

if he really sees the field in the WC or even the send off games somthing is wrong.

Really? They're called friendlies for a reason. Watch the team first before you judge.

It depends how many subs we will able to use. Im guessing 6. He still isn't ready for this level of play. Sure give him a shot in one of the send off games but if he's playing in the WC thats not good.

What's wrong is that we don't seem to have a clear starter on the left side of the midfield.
I think it's imperative that he at least subs into every game pre-WC.

If I was a betting man I'd say Fabian Johnson.

Except that means Demarcus at leftback

Says who?
If he's truly not, to the point that he doesn't even get a minute of PT out of all of this, then this is a clear breach of duty by Klinsmann, a firable offense.
No, you have to think that JK believes he can contribute.

Damn, beat me to it.
I think the position or player that I'm most scared of is Gonzalez at CB, and then second most worriesom is Beasley at LB.
Ets: That would start.

That would be logical.
And yeah, that means Beasley plays left back. Not sure how I feel about that.

If Fab plays LW, then there are a few options that could play out.
Chandler-Besler-Gonzalez-Cameron (this is super unlikely, but I guess a remote possibility)
Beasley-Besler-Cameron-Chandler
It does not necessarily mean DMB at LB, but it could spell Omar at CB.

From what people have said around camp, it seems most likely that Chandler will play RB and Cameron will pair with Besler.

WC Managers do this all the time.

This is nothing new bringing young guys along for the ride in the WC. This time its Green and Yeldin.

Yea, thats what I was getting at. Its almost the lesser of two evils. Although I would much rather have Beasley at lb then Omar near the pitch.

He will get some time in the first 2 games since we go 6 subs deep.
In Brazil, it's damn near impossible for me to see him in any situation other than in the final 15 minutes if we are down by a goal, or if we are tied in the final game, needing some points.
After thinking about it for a while, I think our line-up will be
GK: Howard
RB: Chandler
CB1: Cameron
CB2: Besler
LB: Beasley
DCM: Jones
CM: Bradley
RM: Zusi
LM: Fab
Withdrawn striker or whatever you want to call it: Dempsey
FW: Jozy
Coming off the bench for our worst offensive player (likely Jozy in the 65th minute): Bacon
Other subs who are likely to play in the games: Bedoya, Mix, Beckerman
Extremely situational guys:
Wondo, Davis, and Green
Getting no time:
Guzan and Rimando
Yedlin, Goodsen, Brooks
Looking at that, my only conclusion is damn, we are not deep.

If Julian Green contributes well in the friendlies and (god forbid) subs into a WC games in the last few minutes AND notches an assist, all the naysayers please put your name below the dotted line
There are a lot of very respected figures in international soccer praising this kid's talent. I think we should sit back and respect this and let Jurgy do his thing.
