Mancini saying he will never play and demading you take a wage reduction so you can go to spurs
So do you take the reductions in salary or do you just sit there at city making boats loads of cash.
Id personally sit there and milk city for every dollar. Not his fault they over pay.

I'd demand a loan. He has a few years left on his deal and long term can't afford to just sit there if he wants to continue playing after this deal is up. I would also tell them to f off with the wage reduction. Like you said, not his fault.
Loan him out for half his wage. He still gets paid and City isn't stuck with the whole bill.

I believe the loan option is one which appeals to both the club and Adebayor (pretty logical, isn't it?).
Apart from RM and Mourinho being in a pinch a few years back, there aren't many clubs out there who have a need that can comfortably pay half his wage.
Mancini ought to ring Juventus.

Well yes but he can make it well known that he's not going to take a pay cut and is very willing to go play elsewhere on loan. Makes the decision pretty easy for City.

Sit and milk that cash money. Mancini should have continued to take a less public and less insulting approach to the situation. Being publicly forced out in lieu of other players is embarrassing.

Adebayor will only move or get loaned if he makes the same salary.

I totally understand where City is coming from, as well. I think that it's hilarious, but I also understand their stance.
ETA: Wrt what Adebayor should do, it's up to him.

I hope he digs in and Man City deal with the repercussions of offering high wages in order to lure players to a mid table team... I understand why they did it... There needs to be some draw back to this method...

i'd rather unload that buffoon dzeko and keep adebayor.
if i was adebayor, and soccer was my profession, i would move on and go do my job elsewhere. i can certainly see merit either way though as there is the obvious benefit of the fat arse paycheck he will receive for playing with the reserves.
