We just need to make sure they are still going for it in that game, and not resting a bunch of guys for the knockout round because they’ve already clinched the group. If Wales ties or loses to Iran and England wins, they clinch the group and can play their B team Tuesday against Wales.

Turner
Yedlin - CCV - Ream - Jedi
Adams - Acosta
Weah - Gio - Pulisic
Sargent

Edit: decided I’d rather yedlin for defensive purposes

I can see our depth being a huge issue

Starters aren’t playing full 90 with their clubs and looked done after 60 minutes. The subs aren’t replacement level unless trying to kill off a lead - definitely not chasing a game.

Whereas England’s subs are almost all better than our first team.

That’s where I like saving Aaronsen or Weah off bench. But idk

Our midfield is on par with Englands.

Let’s be honest here

No one in our midfield is the quality of Jude, Rice or Foden

I’d take our midfield 3 over players like Hendo, Mount and the rest

I haven’t watched Rice but Adams looks like one of the best DMs in the prem when he plays. How does Rice compare in your opinion?

They are both very similar in terms of style

Both cover ground fantastic

I’d say Rice is better going forward and filling in space going into the box and being able to score

Something Adams can definitely add to his toolbox in the prem. We already known Adams can be versatile

Pulisic played good,

He didn’t have one good set piece the whole match. Not one.

Was there a set piece goal in any of the 1st games? I can't recall any.

Ream, weston, and dest on yellow. Save for Iran.

Hopefully Iran take a point in the 4am game. Makes the decision easy.

CP-Jesus-Weah

Jedi CCV Zimm Scally
Turner

If it's even at 60, bring on Gio. If down, bring on the some fricks.

Our midfield just bossed England mate. The English tax has clouded your brain. Adams was the best player on the pitch today

Maybe not but it’s a lot closer than you think

We were the first team, club or country, to play Bellingham out of a match in all of 2022 it feels like.

He was an absolute non-factor today.

You know who was also a non factor?

Kane, Mount, Sterling, and Saka. I almost forgot they were on the field.

I completely forgot Sterling was on the pitch until I saw him jogging off and Grealish jogging on.
