But But...remember that time in that qualifier that Bradley made that awesome pass! He's still the man!!!
FFS the guy shits the bed every World Cup game. It's great that he has played well in the past and helped us get to where we are, but open your eyes.

Hey everyone, don't feed the troll. Please. This board gets worse during the WC not just b/c of trolls, but also b/c of troll feeders.
Just ignore. Please.

FAB is coming for the #1 spot in a hurry

Of course I'm exaggerating on Bradley, but he hasn't been playing like you'd expect your starting midfielder to play.

As I said on the last page, he is 2 yards away from being a great player. He is still good.

What is the Soccer Board's opinion of Bradley now?
I'm a big believer in the power of the mind/manifestation. I think Bradley's been far too focused on 'suffering' in the pre WC build up, and it's affecting his play.
Hopefully he'll think less about suffering and more about playing the game with passion and having fun against Germany. He's still a very good player, a warrior, and I feel good knowing he's on our side.

Yeah I still can't believe that he will be subpar this whole tournament.
FWIW an old-timer here at work who has never watched any soccer walked into my office this morning and ragged on Bradley. Said he looked to be "dogging it". Surreal almost that Bradley's effort could be questioned in the World Cup.
I hope he's not nursing an injury. I did see one pundit recall that Bradley had a minor foot surgery not that long ago. Who knows if that's bothering him? He's not the type to complain.

Landon said in his extremely monotone pre-game interview that other players he'd talked with were carrying injuries - not just the publicized one.

Dude had zero awareness in game 1 vs Ghana. His passing improved slightly in game 2, but yep... he caused that ending against Portugal... he sucks so damn hard when it counts

I'm more upset by the 5 minutes added for god knows why.
Yep. And didn't one of the announcers say 4 minutes at first? (sorry if discussed at length)

Two big errors, but he did great work immediately after to cover his arse.
This country has us so soft as nation I swear to God. I can't even read past the 1st page of this post and past this remark. You panzi arse, heart warm story loving mf'ers need to get the frick over yourselves. MICHAEL BRADLEY COST US THIS GAME!! Just fricking say it and quit standing behind your word that he's such a great player. He's a great player in Concacaf, but WTF has he ever done in a World Cup?!? ASIDE FROM his weak giveaway with under a minute to play yesterday, he has been lackadaisical for our 2 games this Cup. He shows NO, ZERO, ZILCH effort when he's off the ball. Against Ghana he didn't even effort to try and stop their 1st goal. And yesterday after his pathetic fng arse gave the ball up he DIDN'T EVEN TRY to get back in the play, he was just jogging his lazy arse down the field. Y'all can give this doosh a free pass all you want, HE SUCKS in World Cup play!! Just like his daddy! Damn panzi's are afraid to criticize this guy for some fng reason. And if we don't go through come Thursday, you fks will still be backing this slacker I'm sure. *rant over*
Oh, and I didn't even have to comment on that piss poor shot he had on a wide arse open net yesterday. My God, give me a break Michael Bradley!!! YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

There are various places to point the finger – Bradley shouldn’t have lost possession so cheaply with a minute remaining, for example – but the wider problem is the USA’s tendency to react too much to the game state. Throughout their opening two matches they’ve showed some great attacking play when behind, or drawing. They started brilliantly against Ghana, and responded superbly to conceding an equaliser – but during the period they were ahead, they sat extremely deep and invited so much pressure.
Similarly, in this game they were excellent for long periods when needing a goal, but then immediately conceded the midfield ground when ahead. It’s almost like they need someone to shout out that old Sunday League call of “Still 0-0, lads!” after a goal, and continue to play their usual game, regardless of the scoreline.

Don't feed the troll? There sure are a hell of a lot of trolls here who are just messing with everyone and think Bradley is God's gift to American soccer.
