He is one of our best players who has played some of his worst ball ever in the last two matches.
Really bad timing that.

I honestly haven't watched Fab a lot before this world cup, it's hard not saying he isn't our best players just watching these two games. Does he normally look this good in club play?

He consistently plays 2 yards off where he should, whether it is position or ball placement. Watching him play is extremely frustrating.
Serious question. How much soccer do you watch?

Most talented outfield player, yes. The best outfield player in the WC so far is either Jones or Johnson.

Jones, IMO. Fab was at fault for Ghana's goal. (I'm one of Fab's biggest defenders on this site)

Fabs is a great player. Signed to play for Gladbach. Looking like a steal for them.

I agree, but I'm biased to CMs. Johnson has been a huge surprise to me in the WC. I knew he was talented but he's showing he could be a world class player. Same with Yedlin IMO.

Yeah I'm not sure what was with the slow motion feel of him. He's usually great in the middle and still one of our best players.
People have off days. We'll see what happens vs Germany. Praying for at least a draw.

I think Clint has a little more skill than him.

If we are just going by the last two games then Johnson has been, but looking at over all work and success for USMNT and Club it's not even close.

Skill on the ball isn't the only thing that goes into talent as a CM. Bradley is the most talented outfield player the US has right now, but he's been off this whole WC.
ETA: Pirlo isn't the most skilled dribbler yet he's still one of the greatest CMs to ever play the game.

I think a lot of these first time or every four year fans are confusing scoring and crossovers with actual effectiveness and production. I don't think they get the concept of a box to box mid or a holding mid.

Actually, this is my first day back from a 3 week ban. The ban occurred 3 Sundays ago during Game of Thrones when I told the Hodors that I was excited for the upcoming episode.
Don't tell anyone I'm back because I'd rather not be, to be honest.

They don't and it's understandable. It's a tough concept to grasp for people who don't understand the game.

Jones has hands down been our best player. Really awesome tournament for him. Hope he can avoid a yellow against ze Germans.

I agree with this part, but clint looks like his old self so far this world cup. Even if someone thinks Bradley is the best which I don't have a major problem with, I wouldn't use the word easily like some people have used.

How you and other posters get in and out of banland and CIYE has been banned for several months for a LSU team vote joke is a travesty.
