yeah he probably is doing more than just the rice method. they probably sent him up into space.

I don't see any updates regarding US injuries anywhere on twitter or sports sites
Posted on 6/17/14 at 1:33 pm to HollierThanThou
All I've read is that Jozy will be evaluated this afternoon.

Couldn't horse placenta speed this along?

I just saw on Twitter that today's USA training session is pushed back 30 minutes because of traffic. All the locals trying to get to where they need to be for the Brazil/Mexico match.
Maybe we will hear from Jurgen or the team at that session.

I saw the Jurgen comment on the ESPN bottom line too. Optimism is different than expectation. I'm optimistic he plays too, but I don't see any way that happens. I have to think that we gotta get out of the group if we want to see Jozy on the field again.

Excellent responses and no flaming...very un-TD like

This is America. We've got some placenta from Secretariat. Jozy will be fine.

@SoccerInsider: Altidore MRI exam late today. Dempsey broken nose, option to wear mask, probably won't; he's Deuce. Besler evaluation later. #usmnt

Deuce would look pretty fierce with a mask though

Should paint the Lone Ranger mask on his clear one if he wears it. Would be bad arse.

The Soccer Board is the best board on TD.
We are very welcoming and open to answering questions as long as people don't get all passive aggressive and rude in how they approach the board.
Then we can be bitchy.

That seems stupid to me. Why risk getting hit again and be in worse shape and possibly be out for further play?

'Cause Deuce
Posted on 6/17/14 at 2:20 pm to SoGaFan
Plus, Deuce is already a boss and would look badass as a masked captain America.

Because Deuce DGAF.
He'll write a moving and poignant rap song about it when the WC is over.

It may be a bit difficult to get an MRI in certain parts of Brazil. There was a story last year where Brazilian hospitals were under investigation for MRI-related deaths, saying the injections given in order to help contrast the muscle images may have caused circulatory complications. I believe this lead to all sorts of regulations in proceeding to give MRI's all across the country.
Although I'm sure the team doctors, along with Brazilian hospital staff, are more than capable of treating Jozy and getting him in for an MRI in a timely and safe manner, so it may just be an issue of traveling.
