Y’all forgetting we played a huge huge game to the bitter end 3 days ago?
You forgetting we spent well over a billion dollars on a squad of like 20 year old professional athletes?

Amazing what happens when you play your best players.

This match is proof our second team guys blow. We say we’re so deep but it’s just numbers and not quality.
In the back line…absolutely.

I wish Delap was better but I’d rather see Guiu.
I prefer Delap…for now.

Gittens is not good.
He has been on a run of poor form. Can he show out at some point…maybe. But right now, he looks like shite.

Nacho, I think he has something but Wan Bassaka ate his lunch today.
He is serviceable for the most part, but he isn’t top shelf (yet). He does have moments of brilliance, and is still fairly young. All in all, a good buy for the money.

Badashile needs to leave the team.
He is a disappointment. However, he is a LCB. They don’t grow on trees. Until Colwill fully returns, or we pick up another LCB, he isn’t going anywhere.

Glad for the points no doubt but the hangover from Napoli was evident in the first 45.
It was a shite lineup from the start.
That being said, I agree about the three points.

And the youngest team in the league as well
Two years younger than the second youngest team in the league (Spurs).
I’m realistic.
This team has holes.
They are going to have to shift some more dead weight in the summer, and plug those holes. That includes depth.
Still, we aren’t far off from competing for the league.
I wanted to Chelsea to finish in the top 4 (or 5 since they are expanding the number of EPL teams into the Champions League to 5), be competitive in Europe, and win a trophy of some sort.
ALL of that is still to play for.

I just watched it again.
Enzo left him out to dry.
Nacho looked like he was supposed to take the drop. That meant that he was 10 yards behind WB. The ball was played out wide to Bowen who put it back to WB. Nacho tracked (not fast enough for my liking, but he tracked nonetheless), and Enzo literally ball watched. My take, that goal was 100% on Enzo. Him hitting the game winner made amends, but that was horrendous defending.
As for our left side, I preferred there and our 18 year old wonder kid out right.
Seeing today makes me appreciate what I saw before Mudryk was suspended.
We haven’t fully filled that void as of yet (and yes, he is an upgrade imho over both Nacho and Gittens).

Palmer to Caicedo to Pedro to Enzo for the match winner.

Whole lotta nothing during this window but glad to see Sterling finally off the books.

This manager is a chode, does he think he gets extra credit if he proves he can win by playing scrubs? WTF is the thinking going into a game knowing you have to score a goal and playing a team that has virtually no chance of scoring for 60+ minutes. Then you put on the attackers once the other team can just put 10 behind the ball and see the game out. F this guy. Can't believe our last manager got booted largely for team selection and this is the guy they bring in.

Speaking of, why is Mudryk still on the books?

James and Neto were scratched this morning

Another loss to ARSEnal. Frick.

Yeah not when you waste 60 min with Rory delap on the wing, a game we knew we had to score and 3 of our 4 best attacking options were on the bench for 70 percent of it. The gaffer is a clown who loves nothing more than smelling his own farts

Neto and Reese are hurt. Estavao just got back from Brazil and was not ready. Palmer is not fit and played almost the entire West Ham game. Liam decided to keep it tight in the first half and try and grab one in the second. I think he played the hand dealt. I hate losing but we can’t play starters every minute of every game. We have bad depth- blame ownership for that.
Posted on 2/4/26 at 6:00 pm to In The Know
So he wasn't ready to start but somehow it ready 70 min into the game? Also maybe we wouldn't have had to go balls out to beat west ham if he hadn't played a garbage team in that one too
Posted on 2/5/26 at 7:26 am to RandySavage
Hammers are a garbage team and he thought the reserves could handle it. They obviously can’t. Sometimes you gotta blame the players.

Wolves making it easy today.

Agreed.
Still, if Wolves score a second goal, the finish is going to be less than enjoyable.

first half hat trick for our boy CP is timely

Agreed.
The only losses under the new gaffer have been to Arsenal.
Both matches, while frustrating, were competitive.
This squad (if healthy) is pretty darn good.

Not sure, but he may be a starter if he returns. In form, offers us a lot more than either an underwhelming Gittens or a serviceable Garnacho.
He was playing fairly well before he got busted.
