Why is Uruguay going so damn hard. They are through in 1st in the group. WHy are they risking so much playing like this?

I’ve watched officials try to define “surviving the ground” on a catch in an NFL game, not much difference.
I do wish there was a better way of determining stoppage time though.

This is something I do appreciate about soccer. In American sports, yeah if it’s particularly egregious maybe the refs will be talked about. But rarely are they called out mid game (as they should be) and especially with something as blunt as “the ref is out of his depth).
