The difference is 90% of us aren’t miserable bitches. And we are actually going to continue to root for our boys.

But for you, you’re always be known as the US soccer hater.

I’m sure you’ll be complaining to some teenager about your latte not being made right later.

I think all that is out the window at this point. Stop hunting “high percentage” dinky goals. Its now: shots on goal, shots on goal, shots on goal. Make the keeper work and you will likely get a deflection eventually.

Like weah’s idea… and dest’s if he connected properly. That was money

valid, but if this team could then it would solve some things. Because when this team bunches then they're gonna get beat.

When we get close to the box, we’re trying to make the extra pass or two to dissect their defense for an easy tap in like we’re 2019 LSU and can just do whatever we want and they won’t stop it We need to be 2003 Boise St and just take any opportunity we get, send some shots like Weah did and make this keeper earn it.

All of this

Not at all.

The Netherlands has at least three players in deJong, Memphis, and vanDijk that would start regularly for any club team on earth. And it shows.

The USA has a lot of really good players, but none on the level of those three. And it shows.

Also, USA is terribly coached.

USA has some tired legs. A lot of heavy touches and poor passes.

This is definitely a big part of it. Dest was completely gassed from his forward run. Hard to tell if that goal was because he was gassed, or his shitty defensive instincts. Probably a bit of both.

It won’t change. They have been too scared to shoot the whole World Cup.

Can we not just find a basketball player to stick in the midfield that just puts a head on crosses?

Yeah let’s bring him in now when we need three goals and when it doesn’t work they can say “I told you he wouldn’t have mattered”

Midfield can’t get a foothold and the striker didn’t really ever drop off except like once
