Would be sick, but I’m sure he’s made a ton of friends through the English YNTs. Hopefully he sees our talent and good natured team and wants to be a part of it.

I bet those English YNT kids think their shite don’t stink. Probably a bunch of assholes.

Has Balogun made any comments about his international future lately?

I know he can pick us, England and Nigeria.

Just finished my watch. Our press and counter press were great in the first half. That midfield 3 was very high energy and had quality on the ball. Good showing there.

Pulisic was obviously missed as Konrad didn’t have the much influence on the game and can’t combine in the final third like CP can.

I’m only really pissed at Lletget starting and playing almost the whole game up top. With so few opportunities for this team to play that feels like wasted minutes that could have gone to the young strikers.

Does anyone have a gif of that damn salsa dance Dest did on the ball in like 44th minute? I love that guy

Did FIFA change rules on this?

We have WC Qualifying in June. Not sure if there’s a chance to cap tie him before then but if we can - we should.

June is going to be a crazy month with the nations league ending and WCQ's starting.

Also have the Gold Cup in July as another cap-tying opportunity.

Problem is that England will have a shot at cap-tying him before us if they want.

Finally watched the match and Lalas is on drugs. “The same as players before and in other years” This man wants so bad for his and the following generation of blow-hard turnover machines to be seen as our best era.

Sure Alexi, always fun to watch our absolute trash of a midfield (Bradley I’m looking at you) give a cheap turnover which put our already porous defense on the back-foot. Our only hope was one of our fantastic keepers could somehow shut the door. That was US football for ages. 30-40% possession and ride the back of Howard or Brad or whoever was in goal. Sorry Alexi you can keep your rope-a-dope style of play that attempted to hide our weak midfield and possession game. Our young players now are light years ahead of those guys in technical ability. So much so, that today our lack of a number 9 really stood out. A decent one would have converted a few chances.

Yes I know it was a Welsh B squad, but the talent and potential of the young guys is obvious.

Other than Trinidad & Tobago (when everyone not named Pulisic played bad), give me a specific game where Bradley was a net negative for us.

I get it, we want new blood and we need new blood to push the older guys out, but this narrative that Bradley & Jozy have been anything but good-to-great players for the USMNT is one of laziest things that fans have been perpetuating for years.

What chances did Lletget not convert that Gioachinni and Soto would have?

I'm sensing a theme with the players you're going after.

What a weird person to take a shot at. Michael Bradley was the 3rd, maybe 4th best outfield player for us in the last 20 years.

The Michael Bradley was terrible takes should be thrown in the trash and lit on fire.

I don’t think you can cap tie someone with WCQ anymore.

And the gap between him and whoever was supposed to be his back up was huge.

Just caught up - I’ve called Weston a pussy, but he’s fun to watch on the field.

I could be wrong, but I think they recently changed it to just continental cup competitions and the actual World Cup.

Was Trapp the backup for most of the last cycle, because anyone who wanted Trapp over Bradley is nuts.

I still don't think we have any 9 that is consistently better than Jozy. He will only be 33 at the next WC, so we need a solid backup, but the job is still his.

I also think it’s funny to act like midfield was one position.

“Our midfield was trash” so let’s blame by far the best of our midfield players
