Zardes has been awful. The effort is there but touch is horrible.

Are we even playing with a second forward? Bc I havebt seen Wondo in the past 30 minutes.

Zero possession.

Zardes might literally be fricking retarded.

The fricking native is starting.

We've never been able to do that.

Hey, look - John Brooks ball watching.

We'll never see that again.

Our center backs are hot garbage and this pitch is coming up in chunks. Meaningless game, but not a great night for US soccer.

I know I'm a broken record but the left side of our midfield doesn't exist. You can't expect Johnson to provide all of the offense and defense.

Is it really that different? Tonight, maybe...but we looked just as bad in our other matches so far.

There is a vast difference in everything from the approach to the mindset of players between the Gold Cup and World Cup. The staff made it very clear this was going to be a big player rotation game to get some final tinkering with the group locked up.

This performance is absolute shite, but it's all down to who's on the pitch. Not to mention, they've been waiting for some time for this match while it means nothing to us.

I'm fine with us letting them have hope only to steal it late, again.

It's like they are coached to try to score as fast as possible on every possession.

Wondo knows what to do but his old legs won't cooperate. He's like my 12 year old boxer in that way.

What? You don't think three defensive mids can provide decent service and attack?

The sad thing is that we are trotting out a very defensive-minded XI and still losing...

Bedoya and Morales present absolutely nothing in the attacking third.

If Chandler had tits, he'd have the same shape as Sydney Leroux.

But I'm the a-hole for questioning starting Morales at "LM"

Yeah...I feel dumb. Just checked the US/Belgium lineup from last year. Lots of changes. I stand corrected, my bad folks.

But, still...wtf gives? Are we really this bad? I wasn't expecting anything great tonight given the situation...but we looked awful against Honduras and Haiti.
