Sounds like it was an awesome match. I’ll have to go back and watch it.
Mexico scored 10 seconds after I checked this game thread in the first minute.
So I did my patriotic duty and logged off without checking any updates of the game until I got the ESPN notification we won. Worth it.
Awesome that we came from behind twice to overcome a cheap goal in the first minute and beat a much more experienced Mexican group. Sounds like Mexico fans were classy, as usual. Always great to humble those clowns.
Hopefully this is a spark for the rest of this World Cup cycle. Love these young guys.

Holy shite! I never thought I could enjoy a Nations League game like that.
For most of this game I was concerned that the young players may not yet appreciate the rivalry. Fast forward to the end of the game and I'm pretty sure they all have a burning hatred of El Tri that will last forever.

Not sure, but the Mexicans that come to this country (especially the ones in the South) all seem to gain 50 to 100 lbs within a couple years. When I was in college, I waited tables in Myrtle Beach during the summer. The guys in the kitchen were from Morelos, Mexico. They had just gotten to SC a few months before. The next summer I didn't recognize them they'd gotten so big.
