Yea it’s not helping guys are giving the ball away in terrible positions

But he’s been cleaning that up great

Yea I get it Gregg wants to play out the back but it’s not working to great, you need to adjust tactics but he’s too stubborn

We could play right over their press with ease

For as good as I thought he was in that first game he’s been really poor in this game.

I had always been a fan of his but he’s getting left behind

The step up in competition from Jamaica to North Ireland is exposing him

NI are pressing very hard and high. Unless you are really tidy on the ball you can get caught. Gotta go over the top but Greg is gonna Greg

I think it’s actually very helpful to learn who can thrive vs the likes of Jamaica, but not Northern Ireland. Those guys can contribute in WCQ, but should be bit players vs Mexico and CR

Mexico will beat the breaks off us if we can’t beat a high press and keep trying to force playing out the back

O wait it’s already happened twice under Gregg

Lol, Northern Ireland's talent is not that much greater than Jamaica.

I think it has more to do with being in MLS preseason and having played 90 minutes a few days ago.

You need to relax.

Acosta is not some great player, but you're trying to bury him without any context.

I think we’re overrating the difference in the quality of opposition. They have very comparable talent - if anything Jamaica probably has better talent.

Most of the guys for Jamaica had never played for the national team before Thursday. Not sure if that’s true of NI

It actually is

They have been very decent in the Euro qualifying and should have made the Euros this summer

There’s just been so many shitty routine passes where the man receiving the ball has to speed up to save the shitty pass. And most of them are coming from the cb’s or Acosta.

Yeah, that’s the only thing. N. Ireland is more cohesive and we’re playing a new system. But Jamaica’s individual talent is better.

Jamaica if they get all those English dudes will be a much better side

But if you been paying attention NI has been much improved the last 4 years

They haven't won a game since October of 2019.
