Hope the chippiness going into half leads to more assertiveness in 2H. Some sloppy and unengaged moments of play in first half

I hate how all the USA players seem to want to have their backs to the goal on attacks which limits their options to do anything. This is way over my level but when I coached little kids I would make strikers run laps for that shite.
To me this shows lack of confidence on ball control. A good striker to me should always be no less than sideways with the goal so he can shoot any time he gets the ball.

Well when one team is playing 11 behind the ball, it's hard to get a flow in the final third.
