Jurgen blew, and Berhalter was an unimpressive hire that has been underwhelming so far. Both can be true.

I agree with this but I’m also giving Gregg the benefit of the doubt because it’s early and our talent pool sucks donkey dick.

Go back to the great save Steffan made.

Poorly marked by Bradley.

Gregg hasn’t done anything yet to instill confidence as a hire, but he also hasn’t done anything yet to make me think Jurgen was better.

i mean, i remember that centennial year being pretty outstanding, the win over italy was great, landon snub aside, the WC was awesome, and the games against netherlands and germany in europe were hella fun.

then it all crashed.

but lets be real, for a couple years everyone was super high on Jurgen.

Gregg has a long way to go before he hits the highs Jurgen had us at in that good period.

I think Juergen was good for the youth of our program.

Our youth is much better now than it was 5 years ago. But he needed to go. I wish we wouldn’t have hired Berhalter, and have been incredibly underwhelmed, but I feel like the system relies on Tyler Adams.

IMO, he’s our best player, and he’s injured at the moment.

FWIW, it’s probably a problem that we can’t replace him and run something better for the current guys we have.

Two starts and zero goals. Not exactly lighting it up but yeah he’s dangerous.

But Bradley ran 20 miles in the game so there’s that.

Adams is great and has a very bright future, along with a handful of others but to say he’s the best player over Christian is laughable

This game was bizarre.

It was like we got the goal and said “OK, job’s done”. Everyone besides Steffen and Pulisic were mostly mediocre or worse for the rest of the game. Even Pulisic and McKennie were messing up some plays they’d normally execute.

We didn’t adjust well at all to what Curaçao were doing. Way too many times they beat us to a loose ball and played straight through our midfield like it wasn’t there. That’s where not having Adams really hurts.

Hopefully they got the shite out of their system today.

Pulisic, Adams and McKennie are widely thought of as best 3 aren’t they?

By that logic, we should wait until 2021 to judge Gregg.

People forget that Jurgen almost didn’t even qualify for the hex in 2012

You are a legit moron if that’s your argument when someone countered with his stats from his most recent appearances.

You really have had some shite takes, even by your standards, the last 48 hours.
