So we are playing Cambridge United tonight. Sounds like I am more Guyanan than some of these guys.

Pulisic looks like he's been trying to make a fool of CONCACAF fodder for months now.

Agreed. Love Boyd as well. Both he and Lima are providing very positive play.

I like what I’m seeing early. Pulisic looks good.

Overall a bit rusty but to be expected.

Why isn't Guyana in CONMEBOL?

When CONMEBOL was founded Guyana, Suriname, and obviously French Guyana weren’t independent countries. By the time Guyana and Suriname became independent countries, CONMEBOL probably wanted no part of them.

Those countries are far more similar culturally to Caribbean countries than South American countries as well.

Him continuing to marinate in Germany for another year or two isn't the worst thing in the world

Personally, I definitely don't mind Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana in CONCACAF for both cultural and competitive reasons. They'd be also-rans in CONMEBOL to a ridiculous extent, thus preserving CONMBEL's reputation as one of the most ridiculous roads to the WC and they could theoretically "bolster" CONCACAF which is not that great in general (before the uprising of Costa Rica etc).

It really just confirms the need for a more inclusive Copa to unite the two for competitive and geographic unity.

No one wants him to leave Germany. Just Schalke.

It is when it's Schalke. They had him play like 8 different positions this year
