I’m not sure this is a new low as some people state.
It's not a new low, it's just when you see what this program is doing right now after going through the hell of missing the World Cup, it's annoying to see that that didn't wake us up.
The way we twiddled our thumbs in the hiring process only to hire a guy who 1) was not a hot-commodity hire and 2) could've been hired from the start instead of wasting a year... I just have no faith in this program right now. Hell, even with Jurgen, I had joy and optimism watching this team because it wasn't that far removed from when we played Brazil in FIFA final and took that shite to them and almost one.
But, really, since 2010, our best performance in a match of consequence has been a 1-1 draw against Portugal. The program has been stagnate and/or moving backward for damn near a decade now, and it sucks to watch.

He's not.
Dest and Robinson are both better than him now and sure as shite will be better than him in 2022.

Berhalter says we definitely have the players to play his system. No problem. I feel so much better now.

Before reading that ESPN article:
I want to wait and see about Greg, but he is already losing players in his process.
After reading:
A). This guy doesn't even know what formation or tactics we are frequenting.
B). Wtf? Why is Boyd under Morris in the depth chart? That's just one "wtf" in our roster, and that's me thinking outside of that article. WE NEVER FOCUS ON BUILDING IN-GAME CHEMISTRY. That's a crock of shite.
C). Why am I going to watch tonight? It's going to be terrible.
Honestly, this IS a low point for the MNT. Managing to frick up the response to not qualifying for the World Cup in the direct aftermath of that shameful happening is something I'd accept if my team were tanking in order to get better draft picks.
Seeing as you can't draft national team members, frick ALL OF THAT.
Thanks Ernie. Thanks USSF and MLS. I'll be a USMNT supporter until I die, but that won't hold me back from hoping for a full-on schism from our most talented players in our pool being formed to force change at the top.
ETA: For the record, I'm still ridin'... just not Mad Max style like I was for the WC Qualifiers last time around.

This together is a toxic combination
They try and work together but bc of their agendas actually do more harm than good bc they don't know what they are doing.

i adopted uruguay.
Sure, follow USA but also some national team.that fields natl teams that hold their own vs Argentina and brazil.
You can smile when you see the young B-team uruguayans vs USA. Different system than with cavani.
Tabarez adapts.

Berhalter is full of arrogance with his “my style”, “my formation”. I coach youth and hs soccer, and while I have a preferred system, it was early on I learned to adapt not only with my players skill sets, but with the other teams’ as well.
It’s clear that we don’t play with a chip on our shoulder as we once did, and that was endearing about our national team.
Where are the Cobi’s and Jermaines and Alexi’s and other guys you knew wouldn’t take any shite?
In other news, for the first time in my esteemed gambling history, wagered against the USA this evening.

I think at the very least, at least 8 of our best 23 were not in this camp (not counting Nagbe, Johnson, and Chandler).
In no specific order:
Altidore
Bradley
Brooks (was in camp but got hurt again)
Miazga
Adams
Yedlin
Holmes
Weah
Arriola
Horvath?

I think most coaches worth a damn do this. The "system" he's trying to implement is playing out of pressure, but we don't have the players capable of doing it.

I would argue Robinson is on the cusp of that number.

He shouldn't be included in this. We've hardly seen him play.

I think he would likely be McKennie's back up and he's in that age range that we desperately need more of (24-28).
