I just read multiple articles and not one mentioned he “wasn’t allowed to leave Brazil” be just straight up refused to leave Brazil because his family was there.

He should quit now, it's not going to get better.

He quit because AFA was completely broke. Messi paid staff wages and team travel expenses. He felt like they weren’t doing what they were supposed to be doing to ensure the national team’s success

Ask anyone who has seen both play and they will tell you that Pele was unparalleled and would have dominated other leagues, and did during friendlies playing top teams, which they often did.
The games I’ve seen that they have film for were unreal, considering the opposition was doing everything they could to stop him, short of bringing actual weapons on the field.

On the club side, come on home to the Americas in MLS King Leo. I’d actually tune into some MLS matches then.

Same here, I’d brave the crowds to take my son down to a game in order to see Messi.

Yeah no way Messi suits up for Argentina again.

He’ll suit up for them again.
But world cup 2026 he may not

Chile made that arse quit in New Jersey after two Copa finals losses in a row. I remember that great night like it was yesterday.

Congrats to Messi and Dojo though

And that messi v Mbappe Netflix documentary in 2036 detailing each player’s rise career and this singular meeting is going to be outstanding
Will it include the Mbappe brace from 2018?
