This team has so much potential to be in the top 4, the talent is there, but we lack the chemistry and offensive power, Harry Kane has yet to even score a goal this year, we have a easy match Sunday against Crystal Palace but a tough one against Man City next week. Tottenham capable of finishing 4th?

Nah.

Eta: if you think a match against palace is gonna be easy, you're gonna have a bad time.

Not sure if spurs fan overestimating the ability of Spurs or underestimating the ability of palace. Probably a bit of both.

I'd imagine he's going off the historical assumption of CP and really hasn't watched them much this year...

I don't think Spurs has the squad for top 4, but given the quality of the big teams this season, there may be a chance... their slow start has decreased those odds considerably..

As a Spurs fan, I would agree that the talent is there, it just needs time to jell. We field one of the youngest squads in the league. And idk what you're talking about but Palace will be anything but easy. I'm nervous for that match.

Palace is a pretty terrible match up for spurs.

Palace will be very tough. I would be pleased to get out of there with a point. That said, the spurs can definetly improve their standings throughout the season. I would love to see Kane come into form.

Crystal Palace is not good, don't know how y'all understand that, it'll be a easy 2 goal win

their wins are norwich city, Aston Villa, and a slow starting chelsea squad. what makes you believe that they are good?

I've tried my best to hold back because I love this team...

I think you should do a lot watching, reading, and discussing outside of this place. Try r/coys/, or maybe r/coyscirclejerk/ would be better suited.

Read about our history. Come back knowing that the entire PL should be thanking and worshipping Bill Nic. Most of all, come back and post here after you have accumulated this knowledge so you do not embarrass an entire fan base. (Or at least post this nonsense in the designated season long thread.)

Also everyone who posted in this thread that isn't a spurs fan: how those European campaigns going?? :fu:

Actually watching them and not just looking at results, that's what.

Shoot, you could base it on results, too. They're in sixth, for crying out loud.

I mean they were dangerous throughout the entire City match. It was dumb freaking luck City got out of there with three points. CP is no pushover and they have pace for days.
