What a half arse finish. Dudes standing around looking at each other the last 15 minutes. We should have scored at least another 2 or 3 if they gave a shite.

Hard to blame them. Chesterfield was horrid. Tough to maintain intensity against that. Would’ve liked a clean sheet though.

WGAF if we give up a goal with Harvey Vale, Lewis Baker, Lewis Hall, Saul, and Timo Werner on the pitch up 5-0? I'm glad Chesterfield got a goal for their fans and we should have started getting ready for Tottenham once we went 2-0 up.

Pulisic is nothing but a passenger at the moment. He’s routinely turning in below average performances. He’s never on the ball, he never demands the ball, basically he hides from the ball, his runs are half-assed at best, he looks like he’s permanently stuck on 50% effort and he rarely takes anyone on when he does have the ball at his feet…and when he does he’s usually dispossessed. You could make excuses for his form when he was played out of position as a wingback or the man up top, but even out on the wing he looks pedestrian as hell.

I can’t remember the last time he turned in a really good performance. He was a more dangerous player as a teenager than he is now. I don’t know if it’s the cumulative effect of all his little injuries, but at the moment he looks content to just exist in the Chelsea squad.

He never plays consistently and each time he does play it’s at a different position. In short, he is not setup to succeed. I wish wish we would let him play at LW for a consistent spell. He’s at his best cutting in on his right but has the quickness to beat them to the line for a cross when needed. He rarely gets to display those moves in his current positioning.

You’re not wrong. Tuchel might well be great for Chelsea, but he’s a disaster for Pulisic.

on the other hand, it's hard to question his methods because he wins, and Pulisic is about as reliable as a ford.

Love CP but he is dispossessed very easily and is constantly knocked off his feet. Fragile on top of all that. He doesn’t do enough in training to get more regular minutes so it may be time to move him.

Chelsea face Plymouth Argyle in 4th round of FA Cup.

Could Wolves wide right player Adama Traore become an option? Well, Chelsea do still have an interest in signing him, according to transfer inside Dean Jones speaking on The Football Terrace Show today.

I’d love this. Adama is a beast. Probably won’t happen but I’d welcome it.

Rudi bags one 1-0 Blues. Surely we will find a way to keep him yes?

Dropping in to say I really like the look of Malang Sarr and that I hope Rudiger goes off to somewhere else in Europe never to be seen again

Latest news is Chelsea is making some headway with him and a new contract. Need him badly.

Cup finalists!

Hard pass. For the most part, he is turrible in the attacking third.

Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

Rudiger and Christensen both have interest from major clubs now. Looks like PSG has offered Rudiger, and Christensen is in talks with Dortmund, Bayern, and Barcelona. IMO I think Chelsea manages to resign Rudiger but loses Christensen. Hopefully they redouble efforts for Kounde over the summer.

At LWB, looks like Digne and Dest are both out. Chelsea is all in on an Emerson loan recall.

Pretty cool. With various managers.

BIG one tomorrow morning. Can’t believe it’s only on Peacock. Kepa in between the pipes scares the shite outta me against that side.

Zero shots on goal in the 1st half and City dominating possession. I wonder how long before Tuch sends in Mount. And who will the other two subs be- I’d like to see Kai along side Rom and maybe even (sigh) Timo. Need some punch.

You said it. Kepa did fine today. Rom had a good chance but it wasn’t our day today. City look like a machine.

Nice job Tuch keeping our best attacking player, who also happens to be by far the hardest worker, on the bench for 80 min.
