Well, Chelsea have to actually play this Sunday so there is hope we can slide into 6th and not worry about how Arsenal finish the FA Cup.

If you'd told me at the beginning of the season that:
-Poch would be let go
-Kane misses a chunk of the season
-Hugo would miss time
-Eriksen leaves
-Loan out to fullbacks
-Dier becomes a regular on the backline
-Ndombele never finds his way to consistent playing time
Then tell me that we'd still have a shot at Europa on the last match day? I'd think you were crazy, but I'd take it.

I wasn’t emotionally committed to Tottenham Back when Chelsea won Champions League, and fricked Tottenham out of the competition the next year. I can only imagine how hard I’d melt now if that happened.
I was willing to completely whore out my Bundesliga fandom to Bayern. All they had to do was beat Chelsea in their home arena. I hate both clubs now.

Absolutely perfect result in the LIVCHE match for an American Spurs fan. pulisic comes off the bench and absolutely drags his balls across fat frank’s face for starting mason in his spot, and They lost forcing them into actually Having to play against wolves.

And Son misses 6 games to a fractured arm and 5 for red card suspensions

Palace are on course to be the only squad in Premier League history to never score more than twice in a match all season and not be relegated.
...so in other news, Spurs are about to be smashed 5-1 on Sunday.

This is probably Jan Vertonghen's last match for Spurs.
Really hoping he gets a run out at some point.

Obscure eastern European adventures abound!

Wasn’t pretty but we did what we had to do. 2nd half was a perfect example of what we lack. If bringing in a DMF will allow us to play a guy like Ndombele that can break open a those traffic jams where we are just sorta standing around and passing it back and forth.....then do whatever it takes.
Also we have do many wingers/CAMs. Someone is getting moved out.

That game was a fitting conclusion to the season. I can’t take another season with Aurier at RB. We have to improve at that position if we want any chance at climbing back into the top 4.
That being said I’m happy to finish 6th with everything that has happened this season. Europa league will be good for this squad imo and will bring in a little extra money at least.
We won’t splash big cash this summer, but Hojberg, a right back, and a back up striker are big time needs. Callum Wilson would be a good option with Bournemouth getting relegated.
COYS!

While I think we can, and should improve at RB, I'll give Aurier some props for keeping Zaha bottled up today.

So uh, turns out if Red Scum win the FA Cup and Wolves win this season's Europa League... Spurs may get screwed out of Europe.
The rules state that only 7 teams can play in Europe.
With the Top 4 and Wolves going to CL, and then Leicester and Red Scum going to Europa.
Longshot, but possible.

That’s awesome, right when I had finally relaxed. Arsenal can make it easy for us and just lose next week I don’t feel like following wolves European results for a month if they keep advancing

Glad to be wrong in this case.
Still hope Chelsea win the FA Cup because I'd much rather see Wolves in Europa compared to Arsenal.

I'm looking forward to the agony of watching All or Nothing when it comes out soon.

No kidding. What a treasure trove of material. Coming off a champions league final loss, bring in the largest transfer in club history, team sucks and said player never plays, beloved manager gets fired, bring in a legendary a-hole manager to right the ship, get rid of a disgruntled whiny bitch who is also our 2nd best player, get hit with a plague, and finish the year on a hot streak.

Thank goodness for finishing 6th. Getting bumped today would have soured this whole short offseason
