The Glazers bought MUFC through purchasing more and more shares until they had full control and then put the club into major debt which it never had been in before. And the Glazers use the club as a piggy bank taking dividends each year when they need it. A recent report said they've taken £89M in the last 5 years. That £89M would be more than 3/4 of the fee for Sancho. Why the hell would the Glazers walk away from a club that gives them £17M every year?

Funny, I just read an article that PSG will match any bid United puts in for Telles. I'm sure after hearing that Woodward won't put in a bid because he doesn't want to get into a game of poker (like Thiago.)

Supposedly athletico are interested too. I’d be surprised if this isn’t drawn out. Woodward doesn’t know how to work deals for players when other teams are equally interested

Woodward has no clue what the frick he's doing outside of the business side. I also read something that United are willing to pay £80M for Sancho but won't match the £108M valuation set by Dortmund. If United walk away from a Sancho deal over £28M I'd lose my frickin mind. Sancho would probably make United £28M in shirt sales alone over his 5 year contract. £28M at £80 a shirt comes out to 350,000 of them. In 18/19 United sold 3.25 million shirts worldwide. shite Sancho could probably make that £28M back in shirt sales in his first three months. Woodward and United have this idea that they don't want to overpay for a player after the Alexis Sanchez deal. They walk away from deals that they think are too expensive. For some reason they think paying £108M for Sancho would be a failure on their part. It doesn't make sense.
