If they can’t figure out scheduling, they can get fricked.

If I were him, I’d have called a press conference just to say that, and then not take any questions.

I think a full youngster-squad (who are used to each other's habits and movements) without first teamers mixed in has a good chance of performing BETTER against Shrewsbury than a mixed squad.

Better than today's mixed squad for sure.

And, probably because of my relatively few years as a soccer fan in addition to me being American, I honestly don't care about the English domestic cups. Harsh, but true.

If the youngsters take care of business in the next Shrewsbury fixture, then it might be possible that the next round will be after we have pretty much wrapped a bow on the PL title and *then* maybe Klopp will think an FA cup title might be a nice little bonus on top of the IMPORTANT competitions that the club is currently competing in.

He's been saying it at press conferences ever since he took the Liverpool job.

He just said it again last week when AFCON scheduled their next tournament in January/February 2021 (bye-bye Mo, Sadio, and Naby).

He's said it until he's blue in the face and the international and domestic football associations have made it clear that they don't give a frick. He's only showing them the same "respect" in return.

It could've easily be avoided by winning today... I dont care if he plays all kids or not, but he should be there at a minimum..

thats nothing new (outside of 2019) and it sucks that's every 2 years, too... they need to address that this summer in the transfer market... thats a killer...

Is Matip officially retired from international football?

No screw that, it's an international break... they shouldn't be playing game at all then, that's some MLS level shite

We'll just have to disagree... I actually would like to win the FA cup..

I'd rather the replay at this time, than to jam it into midweek with other matches around it..

I'd love to win the FA cup but not at the expense of our run ins in both the league and CL

If the FA Cup wanted to be respected, then they shouldn’t schedule matches during periods when teams capped players are guaranteed to be absent.

Not really many surprises here, fully expect Fabs to be first off the bench, would be nice to get him back to match fitness
