It is bullshite and I'm starting to hate it... I don't need VAR to rule a no goal if a player is a fingertip offside... that was an obvious penalty...

I love Klopp and Pep giving it to the 4th official after the first goal.

If Kante is considered the best DM in the league... Fabinho is not far behind him... he is everywhere and in possession he keeps everything going forward as well...

Everybody in the entire world over multiple media (including the NBC crew) have said that was a clear and obvious foul in the box and should have been a PK.

Seems the only people that disagree were the on-field officials and the VAR official... and I have a theory about that.

Early in the very beginning of review technology in the NFL and MLB, the review officials always displayed a great reluctance to overturn the calls made by their colleagues and friends on the field. Back in the day, on-field officials in the NFL and MLB fought the use of review technology tooth and nail and they resented it when it was implemented. They made their resentment known by often ignoring the clear evidence the technology provided them. It was only after years and after the technolgy became more commonly part of the game that officials finally became more comfortable with just “getting the call right”.

Its very likely that the EPL is working itself through this same process.

Didn’t Gini actually make a goal like that last season?

Adrian needs to be screaming to his defenders in front of him about that runner sneaking into the back post.

Bobby is the engine. He is the perfect unselfish, hard working, creative 9 for our world class wings.

No doubt. Firminio, VvD and Fabinho are all 1a, 1b, 1c. Fab needs credit too, we look incredible with him going on all cylinders.

I mean we say stuff like that on paper but maybe he looks like shite in training or has a knock etc.

Maybe he will get some time in the alternate comps.

This team looks more than capable of winning 2-3 trophies this year. I've never felt this confident watching a Liverpool side. We're dismantling teams.

Newcastle's goal was just a cracker, should have had another clean sheet today.
