Unbeaten, 2 back and 6 clear of 3rd. And considering we still haven’t found out offensive mojo that is pretty damn good. We need to figure out our best MF going forward and get through against Napoli at Anfield.

Well shite.
Let’s just hope Lovren can play as he has consistently. In the matches he’s played I haven’t found him to be a issue. Just going to suck not having the speed that Gomez brings. Feel like they may have to sit back and play more defensively now.

So it looks like Lovren won’t be available for Bournemouth, same with Clyne and Mane (expected) as well. I’m guessing just plug in Matip and hope it works? Crazy that a CB is where there’s a need with this team.

I thought Matip played well on Wednesday so while I still think he’s 4th choice, he can do a job. Makes it easier knowing VVD will be his partner, but I will definitely be worried when he needs a rest and we have to go with a Lovren-Matip pairing

But really, I think Matip will do fine for now. Would love to see Fab starting at midfield along with Keita. With Mane hurt, I’m hoping Shaq will get a start up top with Salah and Firmino.
