Good to see Mo’s confidence coming back. link up passing is still a little suspect, tho. Might not fly against nap or psg

Nicely kicked, Mo.

Fabinho is gonna be a beast. I’m starting to have flashbacks of Patrick Vieira

Gomez covers so much ground with those long young legs.

And the PSG-Napoli match is a 2-2 draw, so Liverpool goes atop Group C!

Shaqiri is the offensive midfield missing link we've been waiting for since Ox went down
sturridge continues super duper sub duties setting up what should have been two goals and taking audacious shots from range.
Defense was sublime and impervious
Lallana still trying to get his game legs, but showed signs of going in the right direction
Fabinho should be arrested for harassment and theft after this match. I don't wanna say he's the next Vieira, but if he continues down this path he will be

I really liked the double pivot, with Shaqiri pushed up...
That looked like the Fabinho we thought we were getting... slow start, but really grew into the game and dominated... attack minded, as well... very much looking to play it forward, rather than just keeping/recycling possession...
That was probably our best 11 and hopefully what we see against lesser sides (maybe swap Gini for Keita once he's fully fit)
Invert the triangle and swap Keita for Shaqiri against the bigger clubs..

Caught the replay late last night, unfortunately the bleacher report live app spoiled the result
Good all around win there. Really liked what this midfield brought. Thought Fabinho played an excellent game as did Shaq. Still have room for improvement since this was an expected result against weak opposition, but ball movement was much better vs the last few matches.

I agree wit all'a dis.
One thing I would add: Georginio Wijnaldum is very good at whatever Klopp asks him to do. (Dude has even played CB for Klopp in a single-game emergency.)
