I kinda have a bad feeling about this match, however... when that happens we usually play well..

I actually agree. Usually feel confident about playing City at Anfield but not today. Hoping we can go balls to the wall for 90 min and then enjoy 2 weeks off

Would be a pretty big bummer to follow up our awesome start to the season with back to back duds vs Napoli and City

I like Gomez in for TAA.

God help us with Lovren, but he played well matched with VVD last season.

Can we quit tripping over our dicks in the attacking third?

We can't play with Henderson, Milner, and Wij as the midfield 3 all year.

LOL

my bad. I was at the grocery store and had quickly glanced, missed Gomez in at right back.

Finally caught up to half time. We look okay, feel like we lost some pace toward the end. Feel like we are playing well but just don’t look threatening in the offensive third.

Penalty was absolutely fair.

Thank you Mahrez.

Yeah VVD big mistake there.

We really need to shape up here. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but we just don’t look 100% in form.

def a pen... Mahrez

Considering my gut going into it, I can live with this...

Another clean sheet at home!

Lovren played pretty well... so there is that!

We need this international break in a bad way, time to regroup and press on... Thankfully Mahrez took a shite pen

Two heavy weights warily circling each other for 90 minutes, hesitant to mix it up because of each fighters counter-punching skill.

Not disappointed in the result. Our killer run is over, time to start beating lower-table teams and gathering points.

Here’s the shocker:

Dejan Lovren was MotM

Definitely hats off to Lovren. Gomez did well on the right too. I like our depth in the back. Wish the midfield would come around with all the depth we have there. Keita seemed nonexistent out there.
