Fabinho looked so rusty out there.

I rewatched and thought he settled into the game after a pretty rusty start to it...

Milner's worst match in some time.. he looks like he needs a rest..

It sucks that we let that one get away from us... we were really controlling it for the most part, while not looking great...

A questionable goal from a questionable foul and one moment of individual brilliance and it's gone..

edit: one last point, we need to get more clinical in front of goal.. we were finally punished for missing our chances.. almost happened with PSG..

Biggest disappointment was our finishing but it’s kind of been that way for the most part to start the season. Not worried about it though and I’ll gladly trade a loss yesterday for a win on Saturday

As much as I wanted to win, I'm def focused on Saturday now... and in the long run, there are obvious benefits of not having an extra comp..

Other than Hazard... Chelsea hasn't been that impressive IMO... As good as Kante is, I dont think he's quite settled yet in Sarri's system (still a good player obviously) and he and Kovacic dont offer much with the ball in the final third, to date...

Jorginho is quality, so I hope we dont give him time to pick us a part... Defensively he's not very good and slow...

Best of all, we should have our 1st team back 5 at the weekend... fingers crossed for Big Virgil...

He settled in a bit IMO. I just found he looked a bit lazy and lacked urgency. Probably to be expected since this was his first match back, just dissappointing.

Agree about missing in front of goal. Sturridge should have had 2 and Shaqiri 1, amongst others.

Having watched him at Monaco quite a bit.. thats his "style," so to speak... always relied more on positioning than pressing... I'm sure a lot had to do with rust too..

I'm guessing Klopp knew his style of play well before hand and will try to blend that with the teams overall style and thats what is taking some time... time will tell..

I like the "Minor Cups" since it keeps the whole squad engaged during the season. Hated we had to play Chelsea that early

We need to save Milner more. He’s so fit you think he can run forever but last year late you saw him tire due to our lack of depth. I’d love him to be fresh and fit going into the money months.

Klopp confirmed, but made it sound like it would be a game time decision..

Unfortunately Keita still abandons his defensive responsibilities at times and we can’t afford that against Hazard/Giroud/Willan.

Again, just don't see how you'd change the line up with the way we're playing with this XI... Keita will get his time, there's no doubt about it

These two squads look very evenly matched.

But I also think he those 3 would have fewer chances with Keita on the field.

And he would still have 2 of Wij/Hendo/Milner behind him to pick up any slack.
