It's amazing to me how well we play in the midfield with these three. Fabs shuts everything behind the other two down , and Hendo and Gini have all kinds of time and space to run forward because of that.
Also, Gini is a damn wizard with the ball at his feet. He may not score a ton of goals, but he dribbles out of some tight arse situations in damn near every match he plays. Excellent in possession.

Agreed, really think Fabs is just as key a signing for us as VVD and Alisson... those three have seriously just locked down our defense, allowing us to do more up front.
Also, props to Henderson for absolutely making a believer out of me, he's been really really good this year. Was ready to write him off, but not anymore

Hell, you and me both. Last season I was screaming for Hendo to be sold off. Turns out that when he plays his natural position he turns into a stud. Who could've known?

Yeah, he's a boss in that role... If he lifts the Cup tomorrow, he'll certainly have earned his role as captain of the club (I think you could argue he already has, but the trophy would sort of legitimize it even more).
Man, I'm so pumped for tomorrow, reading the press conference notes, the guys are all saying the right things, I think they're ready to handle their business.

The starting 3 in the midfield is the only question. And it seems to really come down to Gini or Milner. But Klopp has been known to surprise with his midfield.
So to divert my attention from the match for a minute, I’ve got a question. Last year within days of the final, we announced Fabinho. It was a complete surprise. Who do we announce this year?

I would like to see Origi get a TYFYS sub IF we get a mutliple goal lead near the end.

Don't forget big Shaq. I hate that he's already being linked with a move away from the club. He's been a great spark off the bench (though he went AWOL for a bit), and his quality is what we need to retain, not sell on. I really hope that FSG don't cash in on him.
Like a few others have said, our lineup sets itself tomorrow, and we have genuine quality to bring on if we need to chase it. Can't fricking wait.
