Yeah and it being the 3rd time we’ve faced them with Poch being a great coach gives me some pause about wanting to face them. That and Kane might be back for final

Once Hendo's time is done (which is probably a few years from now), I'd 100% be on board with naming TAA the new captain, guy is just class. Hopefully he's around for a long long time

Virgil is the next captain.

Jurgen Klopp still hasn't lost a two-legged European tie as Liverpool manager:

???? Augsburg ?
?????????????? Manchester United ?
???? Dortmund ?
???? Villareal ?
???? Porto ?
?????????????? Manchester City ?
???? AS Roma ?
???? Bayern Munich ?
???? Porto ?
???? Barcelona ?

I’m sorry, there’s just always been something about him I do not like.

i've always felt kinda sorry for him. all he wanted to do was play football, but he's literally top 5 most recognizable faces in the entire world. people pretty much worship him and think he can literally do anything at any time. but he's a down to earth, normal awkward dude who's just really really great at football.

imagine going anywhere in the world and people want to take pics with you and think you're their friend. anybody would snap sometimes.

I did not want to rain on the parade yesterday but did anyone else think there was some rough midfield Liverpool play where the ball was taken that could have been yellow carded right before and in between the two second half goals at 54' 56'? At the time I thought they got away with a couple.

I’ll be in College Station during the final. Any of you Aggie baws have a recommendation on where to watch?

absolute best place to watch association football in college station is fox and hound. might i ask what you're doing in my old stomping grounds?

Divock absolutely HAS to start the final. especially against ajax. we would be dead in the UCL and the league without him. i think Klopp needs to repay that with a start and bring bobby on at halftime.

For what it's worth, we'll be away team in final so if Ajax wins we'd prob be wearing purple since Ajax home jersey is red and white and if spurs win we'd be in red

Would be weird for us not to wear red

Never thought I'd say this but I'm kind of okay with this.

Dude has been pretty damn good lately, hold up play, getting others involved, and obviously scoring crucial goals.

If its not working, change it at halftime.

Fwiw I’m on the Ajax train as well after thinking about it

Spurs games are always tough and beating a good side like them 3 times in a season would be very hard. Losing to them would be awful

Plus I like playing European teams

Probably so, but I was just saying I wouldn't mind giving it to TAA at some point, Virgil may be captain next year, but TAA is certainly captain material down the line

Watching Ajax dismantle spurs. Their right side is open for the taking and their keeper is a liability. He won’t be able to handle the pressure. They like possession and pushing up very high. We will make our hay on the counter attack.

I agree, we can shred them on the counter for sure... just don't want the boys to not be mentally prepared for a "little fish"

I don't expect them to be, but I didn't expect Spurs, Juve or Madrid to do that either

Welp, now we get spurs. Didn’t see this coming. I preferred playing them before the match, not so much after.

I would rather Ajax because they wouldn’t have been exposed to our brand of football. But spurs it is. We’re still favorites but anything is possible in one match. Let’s finish the PL with 3 more points and then turn our focus.
