Know what sucks? Our point total right now would have won the league 7 times since the inception of the PL... instead we could win out and still place 2nd by a point

Started slow but, after his goal, Keita played amazing.

Yep, hopefully turned a corner today... get home going and get Salah back in form and we're set for a run in

Remember way back when? When our MF’s couldn’t score?
And by “way back when” I mean last week.

Just to lay my claim, I asked if we had sold Mo yet before the match...
What a fricking set of goals! I love this heart attack of a team!

How about Keira today boys?
Great except for the dive. I think it was more anticipating contact than cynicism, but had he stayed on his feet he could’ve had an easy one on one with the keeper

I don’t know how he was supposed to avoid the contact that came. He was leaning forward, but that was a slightly late tackle.

You guys hear Jurgen drop the F-bomb in the post match interview?

Ok, I’m not crazy!!! Thank you.

I’ve rewatched the Mo goal at least a dozen times so far

So our midfield choices for our next 2 games will be intersting.
I'm gonna assume Milner plays LB. Henderson was awesome when he came on and I think you could make an argument for him to play as an 8. His legs also does help Fabinho because he does need a little help overall covering the midfield.
Keita wasn't great, but he grew in the game, so I think he has an argument to play. This was a typical away Gini game for him. He seemed invisible and even he was struggling to break up play and some of the counters which he's been really good at all year. But our next 2 matches will be at home, where Gini usually excels.
I really hate the Fab-Hendo-Gini trio, but if Gini plays like he can as an 8 at times (see Roma after Ox got hurt) and Hendo runs all over like he did today, then it could work. And I'd expect Klopp to almost be slightly on the conservative side for the first leg to not want to give up an away goal

Klopp loves him that Hendo Gini Milner midfield for European away games but yeah I’m guessing Milner to LB and Fab will start
Would prob be a lot asking Keita to run it back on Tuesday with how much time he’s missed. Really curious if we see Shaq again this season
Also interested to see if/how Klopp integrates Gomez and Ox back onto the field just bc of how vital every remaining game is. Would be nice to have a 2 or 3 goal lead at halftime in one of these games
Eta: idk why but I thought the 1st leg was at Porto. Most of what I said still applies though

ME TOO!
I just figured there was NO WAY he just said that, so I assumed he didn't.

I'm the biggest Gini fan there is, but I think he's been a bit over-used this season because it looks to me like his legs are gone.
I hope I'm wrong.

Did I miss something about TAA? They never said if him being taken out was tactical or injury related (or I never heard anything)

Like you're reminder earlier, I also wanted to remind you of something:

Great game. Happy to see hendo, mo, and Keita get goals...quite refreshing. People like to shite on hendo but I think he’s been in good form lately. Moreso than Gini...I agree with above poster that gini has kind of disappeared lately.

I get the defensive work rate but damn Shaquiri may not see the fricking pitch again. I read The Echo article but this is kind of next level.

Klopp stated TAA was taken out because he wasn’t playing well and seemed tired. Said it in a better way but...
