Congrats on the W yesterday... Is this the first F4 for Auburn??

I had a Tottenham pal over yesterday... He's from London and the banter was fun... He's quite the prick..

The price on his face when that ball went over the line.. 50 years of frustration came out at once.. lucky the fricker didn't break my TV..

Auburn is pretty much historically the worst basketball program in SEC history, so yeah. This is pretty damn sweet.

Congrats bb, I thought they went once when my mom went there in the Barkley and Person bros era but I’m not shocked that this is their first. Also I think Ole Miss has to be dead arse last in terms of historical success in SEC basketball

Kind of an odd question but does anyone remember or know when they start to release next season’s kit? I’m too fat now for old school Fowler shirt and I want to have one other than just my VVD shirt.

Did we sign with a new company? Thought that was kind of in a limbo.

I was holding my daughter when we scored the winner, took her about 5 minutes to stop crying. My wife was working in the backyard and came running thinking something was wrong.

6 more finals - we can DO THIS. And with the opponents we have left, I hope to see us chipping into that goal differential.

It has been rumored but New Balance will still be makinng them next season from what i have read. New Balance is based in Boston and in bed with FSG, I feel like we’re gonna continue to be with them for a while. Not to mention that we have to be New Balance’s biggest account in not only soccer but across teams in all sports that they outfit.

Liverpool didn't win today.

Man City didn't lose today.

But it was a very, very good day nonetheless.

The battle for the top four may be beneficial for our title hopes. City still have Tottenham and united left, they’re each on the cusp of missing out and will need to get points out the city match ups.

New Balance has done a nice job with the kits. If they pay up, I’ll be happy to keep buying what they produce.

Not that this is the goal, but just like LSU Basketball for me this year, it's one step at a time... With a win this weekend we'll clinch CL play again next season.

Obviously we have much higher aspirations for the year, but will be nice to have that in the bag for the 3rd consecutive year

Not sure that is the best analogy for the upcoming seasons

I just meant as far as not getting ahead of ourselves...
For me since it had been so long for LSU Basketball to do ANYTHING relevant my thought process was:

Become a lock for the NCAAT, then clinch a top 4 seed in the SECT (aka a double bye), then make sure to have a top 4 seed in the NCAAT, then win the SEC regular season.

Same thing here... Clinch top 4, now go and win the damn thing

I know what you meant... I just think that next step for LSU basketball could be off a cliff.. just laughing, so I dont cry!!

In the grand scheme of things I agree... As much as I want to win the title this year, I think we are a little ahead of my perceived schedule, to be competing for the title... considering we finished 25 points off them last year.. I do believe City is still the most talented team overall (especially depth)...

I am enjoying the ride no doubt... To be competing for the league and amongst the top teams in Europe should be who we are year in and year out... I am confident that we are firmly entrenched at this level for the foreseeable future...

I was thinking the same thing, especially with Man U. Need them to stay fighting for a top 4 sport so they can’t roll over against City. Would be great if U beating City is what captures the title.

Same, we're definitely back to where we expect this club to be... I mean we're almost certainly in the CL for the 3rd year in a row (been a hot minute for that to have happened)... Also in the QFs in back to back years.

Plus we're competing for the league, haven't felt this good about the club since I became a fan really

The 13/14 and 08/09 seasons were such fun rides, but this season, with the ready availability of information through Twitter, podcasts, and NBC's coverage, combined with the CL run last year and now this year just feels so much more special.

I remember having to log into Goal.com multiple times a day for information in years past. I had to follow the 13/14 frick Demba Ba Game via the CBS sports app while riding in a car back from Missouri - it was so goddamn was miserable.

I feel much more connected to this run, even though I'm half a world away. I find myself humming Allez Allez Allez at random points of my day. We've been on the verge of glory for so long...its coming home boys..

Yeah, follow those two run ins were pretty awful... I remember not being able to watch the Crystanbul game live for some reason, but checked the score and saw we were 3-0 up... Then we all know what happened.

With the switch to NBC, coverage has been so vastly improved and it's awesome for us the viewers.

You're definitely right about feeling more connected

I’m not crazy about the darker red for the home kits the past couple of years but I still mostly love the NB stuff. I get that templates are a necessity from a production standpoint but it’s really nice having our gear look totally different from every Nike/Adidas/Umbro/etc team.

Also totally agree about NBC’s coverage changing the game for the average American fan. Not only is being able to watch every game in HD without looking for a shady streaming site great but the way their coverage is perfectly designed for dickheads like me that never played or watched until somewhat recently (around 10 years ago) yet still have a decent understanding of the game. Hard to remove bias from the equation yet I’d agree that last season and this one have been by far the best to follow.
