Will be really interested to see how Ox develops under Klopp. Tons of talent, didn't do much with it at Arsenal. I do actually think he can be a CM. His biggest issue has been between the ears. He gets really down on himself when things aren't going well. But he has incredible athleticism, skill to go past players, and can from time to time hit a decent shot.

Let's splash some cash and get who we want. If we get VVD and Lemar that's a hell of a statement from FSG. Not just trying to stay in the top 4, but I think that's a step toward staying relevant in the title race. Not saying we're favorites or anything of the sort, but I appreciate them wanting us to be competitive.

I think Klopp gets the best out of players and I think he'll come good... Will he ever be nailed on 1st choice in the starting 11 at CM? Who knows... We have Keita coming in next summer who has a lot of his qualities...
With all our comps this season, he should get plenty of chances in the middle of the park and as back up to Mane/Salah on the wings...
Seems like a good deal for both clubs.. I hope he stays healthy

no matter what happens from here, but especially if we get VVD, we'll have tremendously improved our starting XI and first 18 this season, which is pretty much exactly what we needed. Now you can drop in a Woodburn for a game, and because he's not surrounded by other kids, he has a chance to shine instead of having to make up for other kids around him.

If Lemar signs, Cou it gone. If Lemar doesn't sign, Cou stays.
Ox is great cover for really everywhere on the pitch except for striker and CB. Love a player like that. He's a young Milner and I can't wait to watch him develop under Klopp.

100% agree, I feel the squad we have right now should be competitive on all fronts this year... We may not win the league (though not ruling it out), but I could see this team winning some silverware in one of the cups (or hey, let's just shock the world again and win the CL )
)

With how long this is going on, sounds like we really really really really want him and doing everything possible to get it done.
