Hot damn that was an interesting one for sure. 2-1 is a great result but I'm still super nervous about the return leg. If Henderson is actually hurt I honestly believe he might see the field maybe 5-10 more times this season. He's to fragile now. We have to get some midfield cover now. Get whoever but we need to get at least 1 but I'd like 2 CMs and I still think we need a CB. Lovern is just not cutting it and that PK he gave up has become his typical 1v1 defending. Migs was lights out man even though he got bailed out on that terrible PK. Jesus can we please discuss how shitty that PK was

Would explain a lot. I can tell you as a person who also fights plantar fasciitis, it changes everything in how you move.

EDIT: There is no curing it. There is only managing the pain with aggressive insoles. I can still do my daily runs, but not without a lot of management on my part.

Those lapses will be punished by the better teams. As much as I hate Milner at LB I'd still take him over Moreno. If someone comes back with a bid over £12 million, bite their hand off.

Albie is a straight up wingback. The reason he is in the squad is because of his speed, and ability to press. He, like most wingbacks these days, is a defensive liability. But it's not like TAA is a world class defender. Far from it. And on the flip side it's not like Clyne is the most prolific attacker either. So it will be good to have him available once TAA shows his growing pains in defending resulting him getting absolutely ripped apart by our fan base. It is inevitable. See: every other player that has ever put on a red shirt in the age of the internet.

My opinion is that the primary weak link is Lovren. He's not a leader; he is not tactically sound. And his challenges most times reek of desperation. I think Milner at LB provided both leadership, and stability on that side. He provided cover for Lovren's boneheadedness. If we had a guy just marginally better than Lovren at this point, I think it sorts out the vast majority of our defensive issues. And I also think that is how you get Alberto to really shine as it would relieve most of the soul crushing pressure we face on the left.
