Whatever link you provided no longer exists... The only report of them rejecting a Liverpool bid that I've seen comes from a supposed Saints ITK on Reddit, and I'm not sure I trust that... (I mean it's possible it's true, but I haven't seen it from anyone reliable yet)

I'm sorry, the link is from The Echo which is why I tend to believe that the source from St Mary's is probably legit. I sure as hell hope I am wrong about VVD. frick it, CL today....let's go get get a W.

The Echo

not saying one way or the other about your particular story about VVD, but I noticed this offseason that the Echo has become a lot more click-baity, and does a lot of articles which have big headlines, but when you read it, its really a rehash of another source. So the Echo isn't saying "X" is happening, they are regurgitating that "Y" source is saying "X" is happening. Which gives them the ability to pull in clicks with outlandish claims/headlines while still being able to take the high journalistic road that they didn't report anything inaccurately - they are reporting that someone else is reporting something.

Basically, echo isn't what it once was, and they have succumbed to the cancer of current journalism. Again, that's not a comment about this story in particular, but the echo is no longer solid, depending upon the underlying source of the story.

There's new ownership in pace, so that may change things... The thing in our favor, as of today, s the player doesn't want to go to those clubs..

Ive also read that CFC has pulled out the race, if they were ever even in it to begin with...

I hear you on the Echo this year but they are still way ahead of most on transfers. Usually I just go with Pearce, Joyce and Reddy. The article referenced that St Mary's will refuse to do business with us which has been a worry of mine for awhile now. Let's hope this window shapes up and we get a good result today.

Geez, I don't know how I'm going to be able to make it the rest of the day without finding out the score. Won't be able to watch this one until after I get the kids to sleep.

Just hoping the good guys pulls it out and set up an easier match for next week.

the fact that Moreno is still on this team and still sees the pitch is befuddling.

At home watching with my 4 day old daughter, Annie. Who, according to my wife, is NOT named after Anfield.

Let's get it done, boys.

I've seen everything from "he was excellent" to "he was garbage, and should never put on a Liverpool kit again" after Saturday. I thought he was decent. But I also thought we might see Milner start today in his place.
