The same seemed to play out as a slow first 20, insane next 50, and sketchy last 20, roughly. I think it’ll be enough to push through but damn the last part of that was ugly

Yeah, the last 15 minutes was ugly but, like our first win against Man City this year where we won 4-3, the entire team was going crazy in the first 60-70 minutes pressing and never giving Roma any breathing room and it was obvious that they were done that last 15-20.
Even then Roma only scored on a typical Lovrenism we've all come to know and love over the years and a freak penalty which was a lot closer call on replay than I thought at first.
Edit: On top of the additional fact that almost any team up 5-0 usually fights a losing battle against kinda backing off and slowing down a little bit.

Ok boys, what in the frick was Lovren doing on that first goal!!! I like the guy but if we don’t spend big on a VVD partner I’m gonna lose my shite. All in all I don’t care what their defensive record in Rome in the CL is but they sure as shite aren’t keeping us out of the net. I expect 2 goals there.

Same thing he was doing against Tottenham last October... totally misjudging and misplaying balls in the air and whiffing with his head, opening up the offensive player behind him uncontested.

- Jan Oblak... yeah, I said it
- Another speedy winger (preferably one who can play on either side)
- Jorghino or Neves
- Another CB to team with VVD on the first team (hey pville! lol)
- A center forward who can do 80-90% of what Firmino does
